We had one of the most talented teams of all time and only won one playoff series.
Its the biggest failure in the history of sports.
And now we dont have our **** draft pick until 2028!!!!!
Marks was part of the problem. He needs to go.
yes marks was the reason kyrie landed on giannis' foot and wouldnt take the vax. grow up. these guys are grown men making 1/4 billion dollars. kyrie has done this to 3 teams now. harden did what he did to 2. those teams werent all gm'd by sean marks.
and who cares who owns our draft pick? honestly it's a GREAT thing because it takes tanking off the table. unless you want to watch tanking?
the nets now own more picks going forward than a typical allotment so complain all you want about picks but that's a non-issue.
especially if the guy making those picks is the same guy who picked cam thomas 27, nic claxton 31, jarrett allen/caris out of the lotto, etc.
Marks/Tsai let Kyrie and KD run everything from the start which empowered Kyrie to act like an idiot.
You seriously think Pat Riley lets Kyrie behave like this?
We honestly should have traded Kyrie as soon as he refused to take the vax. That was the smart move.
The Harden trade was another example of us pandering to them.
Giving up everything for another star rather than investing in role players like Allen, Dinwiddie etc.
By the time they woke up it was far too late. We gave up all our picks and leverage.
Why suspend him for road games and then bring him back? Why suspend him for a stupid Tweet that everybody blew up for no reason.
And if you go all in like that then honestly just offer Kyrie the full max.
What was the point of offering him 3 years with the last year non-guaranteed? We knew it would piss him off.
We could always trade Kyrie later. Lakers would easily take him.
The whole stunk from the bottom up. There was no plan.
