Westbrook buyout would be interesting... I would get him as 6th man and just get him to attack the rim.
Wing depth is an issue.... and PF too. Torrey Craig is not someone you want playing 25 minutes or more.
TJ Warren coming back is a bonus.
Mikal, Cam Thomas, Cam Johnson, Claxton and Ben Simmons are going to be interesting. It would be funny if Simmons was holding back. He can now average a triple double with the shooters around him.

But those are the best insiders? Someone who knows someone who is close to a star player on the team. Booker is literally the team, they are building around him. They ask Booker for input on what he wants. I will certainly welcome Flex since he gives us an insiders look on what the thought process is of Booker.

Well, that’s technically an insider. Give the man his props.

He's a personal insider as opposed to other proper insiders who check with multiple sources within companies to get information. Having a players brother leak out information while you play PS5 online at home is not the same.

Unprotected in 2029 is scary but I wouldn’t let it be a deal breaker. Could a better GM have made a better deal than this? Probably but we’ll never know. This team might break every offensive metric of all time, and KD isn’t a slouch on defense either.
Even the 2025 pick is scary to me....That's when CP3 is done and KD will be 36? Like there's real questions as to what this team will look like then.
I also expect to have a better scouting department and hopefully not both all our picks. Yes, the 25 pick is even pretty scary. Heck, this year's still could be. We already watched Book re-aggravate his groin after coming back and CP3 has had multiple injuries and KD is only healthy about half the time the last 3 years after he sat out a year.
Hopefully everyone is healthy after the all star break and we have a killer record after that.
Need to hit on all those 24, 26, 28 picks...hopefully that improved scouting department pays dividends.
2023 I'm fine with but 2025 is when it starts to get real sketchy. Who knows how good this team would be in 2025 and even if we continue to be good, what about replenishing the well for the future? Giving up two former late lotto picks who actually became legit NBA staters is a big gamble and we lost a lot of that depth going forward.

You're kidding right man?? I mean clearly his weaknesses would be minimized here as we wouldn't need him to shoot. But he's still put up elite stats and possesses elite athleticism and tenacity and playmaking and ballhandling at a discount! Not to mention the level of motivation he'd have after being dumped and written off by so many! We could use his impact and fire. Not to mention his ballhandling and athleticism too!
He's pretty good if he doesn't play with a guy like LeBron. Like if he was playing instead of Paul and/or one of KD/Book is out he leaves it all on the floor. He shoots too much but he looked good in Washington.
He's not a playoff winner at this point but with depth being thin, I wouldn't mind him.
I don't see him joining a team with KD though. And I can't see Paul liking him much either...based on the way he plays.

I’m surprised we didn’t try to sneak a Dario for Oneale swap

Now I do feel better making a move like this with an owner who's willing to spend because they need to add even more this summer and the buy out market.

The buyout market is my big hope now. And at least we finally will get some espn coverage.
Love, Wall, whoever. I don't imagine Westbrook would want to reunite with KD but who knows..it would be kind of fun to see them win a championshp together...on the Suns.
If healthy this is a much better team this season. The risk is health and future.

Yeah, on first thought depth seems worse because we know how often TJ and KD are out and how often Bridges is out. But yeah, future depth too...given the shelf life of CP3 especially but also KD.

I'd rather have Dario at this point.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

have to admit, watching some KD highlights from this year, and the dude is just unbelievable. Booker and Durant both have such deep bags offensively. This will, at the very least, be fun to watch on offense.

Caught up with my Mavs mate today over lunch to talk NBA and i made the exact point about KD. Said I probably wouldn't want to do the trade because I wasn't confident we're the outright favourite even with KD and every year going forward would be more difficult without the depth and potential improvements from Cam/Mikal and the continued aging (and potential injuries) to CP3/KD. We're locked in now, there's no going back. This is all our chip on the table

That injury was complete bull and staying out is what fakers and hostage takers do.
i don't think that was the case here
Yeah, say what you want about KD, but he would not sit out if he could play. He loves playing too much.

Ishbia and James Jones, you did it. Could turn out to be very bad for us but could also get us a championship this year. One thing I know for sure is attracting free agents will be so easy. Love ishbia already. Let’s go!!!!

Yeah, I responded to Bridges "I don't want to leave" tweet that he will be missed and see him in 2026.

Jones has always been very conservative. A move like this requires both ownership approval and has the feel of a new owner big splash move.
