I don’t want to trade OG to any team but the Pelicans or Blazers.

Fred’s gotta be off the team tomorrow, right?

We have 3 pending UFA’s all who are going to want 20M. Doesn’t make sense to re sign each one to be a consistent 8th seed.

For sure Trent or FVV. We aren’t going into the off-season with all 3 of those expiring contracts.

The ultimate out of no where trade would be if somehow Trent and OG or Fred and OG got dealt for Ingram straight up.

Sounds crazy, but the Pelicans do have quite a bit of depth and this could be a way to balance their roster and let some of the young guys grow with some experienced vets. Getting Fred they move CJ back to his natural 2 spot. They have more than enough scoring fire power.

The Pels need better defense and this improves them immensely.

On the Raps side we get our number 1 scoring option in Ingram and he fits the long boi model.

I think OG gets traded and FVV/GTJ stay. OG wants out. FVV/GTJ just want to get paid. We’ll trade OG for draft picks and young contract controlled talent. Won’t be a balanced trade for us up front but we’ll want cap and draft flexibility.

With Jak, I feel like Boucher could also be on his way out to clear cap. Who knows, maybe a contender takes on Thad. It also spells the end of OG likely:

On twitter Someone broke the news that Jakob has cleared his things and stayed in a hotel since 1st Feb, and prepared to stay in Toronto after the game, before the trade. He said the Raptors aint selling any starters, and will add 1 more Canadian onto the roaster before the deadline.... ****..
