Bridges have been playing the SG while Booker was injured, he is the type of players that Weham like, he is young, long, can defend and he is locked for years

Ross+Bamba+ 2 FRP for Bridges

I don't think so?
Uber effective, 26 years old, guard who can play wing and defend 1-4 , who got better each and every year and developed his game with moderate $20M a year- locked for next 4 years.
You can make argument he is most valuable contract in nba.

What are picks that would Magic send? Bulls? Own? Nuggets pick that doesn't seem to be all that valuable?

I d do the best of Chi/Orl 2023 Top 4 protected + Nuggets FRP + and many 2nd picks

I would add Bol+RJ and Even Cole if needed

Actually, Cole would look great in Brooklin

Bamba+Cole+RJ+ Chi 2023 + Den FRP+ many 2RP for Bridges
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda

Crowder is being shipped according to the media.

The Nets is a mess now. But is so far up this is a play-in team nevertheless.

Ross and Okeke for Joe Harris would help Orlando. But at the loss of cap flexibility.

Fultz/Suggs
Bridges/G-Harris
F-Wagner/Bol
Banchero/Isaac
Carter/M-Wagner

An interesting 10-man rotation with scrub minutes for Ross, Houstan and Okeke. The Magic would need to pick up a PG and a C in the release-FA market. But the team would have a good shot at making this year's play-ins. And enough would be assessed to see if Orlando has its starting five for next year.

New scuttlebutt if that G-Harris "likes" his role as a locker-room coach and managment values that.

So: it's the Ross and Bamba watch now.

1 last-minute trade Orlando Magic must make before 2023 deadline

Orlando receives: Furkan Korkmaz, Danuel House and Jaden Springer

LINK

I kind of like this as Orlando could just waive Korkmaz and House, and have Springer to develop. Springer could be a nice combo guard to play 3rd string and emergency backup minutes. Not a bad haul for Ross. And Ross to the Sixers is very fair to him.

The more I think about VanVleet, the more I hope Orlando trades for Moses Moody.

Is Moody anything more than body?
Two yeras into his career and there is nothing about his game that looks nba-level-good.

suns could not waist more time.

the window is probably just 15 mounths, two playoff trips, but they had to do something like that.
having a window to be a real contender it's what you work for, season after season.

look at bucks, whatever happens they already are winners, even if giannis leave and they'll have no picks in the future, who cares

I’d throw Chi, Den, and our ‘24 for Bridges and, if we could send some money out, we’d still have cap space for FVV and our first this year….Bridges would be amazing in our lineup if we just had a semi-elite PG…and we’d still be young

In all this it's lost why nba is played. For championships.
And imo, somewhere between fans and internet and forums that fact has been lost.
Now fans only care about "who's future looks brighter" despite fact vast majority of "bright futures " go nowhere.

Other than the Bulls’ pick that’s just a bunch of loose change.. Bridges is probably the best 3&D wing in the league it would take a better deal than that

Now that the whole league seemingly just shifted, do you see the teams who didn't just get involved in the huge deals try to make trades for some of our players to try and keep up?

I mean do we have any players that are available that keep up two of the best players of all time?

Seems like the East has gotten easier. The West is wide open. I still believe Denver is the best team, but you could probably argue 8 teams could possibly win.

The biggest surprise in the last week to me is that Nets looked like a legitimate championship contender a month ago, and now their best player is more of a role player. And they don't own their picks for the next 7 years. I would be targeting Mikal Bridges heavily in the offseason. The Bulls pick is worth more than any picks they have. What a disaster, they should have just called Kyrie's bluff and risked letting him walk in the offseason. They went from one of the best teams in the league to a team stuck in purgatory in less than a week.
