Maybe it’s the fraudulent 70 burger from a few years ago but Booker will always be an overrated stat padding chucker to me. I think he’s quite over rated personally. If you want to say he’s better than Brown I wouldn’t put up a huge fight but the gap is minimal if any.

He may not have defenses honing in on him, but he’s not going to have as many shots either. I don’t expect much change in his numbers at all

Brown is absolutely the better player, better athlete and defender. Booker is a scoring combo guard, if his shot doesn’t fall he’s useless

Eh. Booker is a better play maker / ball mover. Defense, it's debatable.

JB is more explosive in transition, usually a stronger finisher near the rim. But he also is more turnover prone.

Booker was also the number 1 option on a team that went to the NBA finals one year, then had best record in the league the next year. JB has only been the no. 2 guy, albeit a VERY good one.

I think most people around the league would say Booker is better. But it's close..

Booker has played alongside one of the greatest point guards ever, Chris Paul. That helps.

Well, KD is gone. Poeltl is gone. Vanderbilt is gone. Reddish and Crowder, gone.

That's 5 guys we've spent countless pages on here discussing.

I'll say this. I bet JB is very relieved right now. Now he doesn't have to worry about the constant trade rumors involving him and KD. I bet he feels like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders and he can now just focus on going all out to help us win a ring.

My other thought at this point, is this. Wyc said our team is just a "quality team" in preseason and then a couple weeks ago he gave marching orders to Brad to muscle up and go for it this year. With the deals that have taken place over the past few days, I have a feeling Wyc is calling or texting Brad and giving him a nudge to make a move..

I think the Nets blew it. In my opinion, I would have forced the team that traded for Durant to take Ben Simmons. No Simmons, no Durant.

I kind of like trading for OG for them. Pay to dump Simmons, pay in vets and assets for OG, then move forward with OG/Bridges/Cam Johnson/Claxton and look to land a solid PG in FA.

That's not a bad landing spot after all of that.

Yeah. Overreaction by me. I just don't like Simmons as a player. Both teams got what they wanted out of the Suns/Nets deal. Nets have 1 more move before they start their rebuild. Move Simmons.
