I mean, a lot of the names that were openly talked about have been moved.

The thing is, nobody ever expected that we would land Derrick White last trade deadline. So who's to say we don't acquire a big or wing who's name hasn't been publicly put out there yet. We all know Brad likes to keep his moves on the down low, so there is a very good chance the C's make a move for a player who's name hasn't been floated through the media.

Wow Simmons is still owed that much. I felt like he’s sucked for 5 years now. Damn

I kind of like trading for OG for them. Pay to dump Simmons, pay in vets and assets for OG, then move forward with OG/Bridges/Cam Johnson/Claxton and look to land a solid PG in FA.

That's not a bad landing spot after all of that.

Yeah. Overreaction by me. I just don't like Simmons as a player. Both teams got what they wanted out of the Suns/Nets deal. Nets have 1 more move before they start their rebuild. Move Simmons.

Bridges, DFS, Claxton isn't a bad defensive start. The Simmons piece does really complicate it but they could have a solid "tough first round out" type of team with the right couple of moves.

Pieces are a weird fit right now though. Maybe C's steal the low-cost japanese guy who looks to be about 8th on the depth chart behind Bridges, Crowder, DFS, O'Neale, Simmons, Harris, etc etc.

More likely VARICOCOELES!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

I went to bed early last night. When I left the thread all was in order. We'd just beaten the Sixers. Poetl was available. Durant was available.

Which of you is responsible for screwing this up so royally?

Which is absolutely insane to me considering they're no longer contenders .

I would love to get Curry but doubt that's happening

I'm expecting Crowder and a few others to be moved today. I think Crowder to the Bucks looks better than ever.

Nets should use one of those Suns picks to dump Simmons.

And he's nearly 80 million over the next two years. That's a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a guy that doesn't like to shoot and I don't believe loves playing basketball.

Phoenix
Denver
Golden State

I'd still rather play the Suns in the finals instead of those other two.

Crowder bought out with the DPE worth of money would save $3M in salary, plus the tax would be $10M total.

Japanese guy into a TPE and Crowder bought out would save them $20M or so. The other deal prob isn't finalized yet so that could save them from cutting another guy.

Five years from now we’ll learn the deal was done for Jaylen and then he broke his face getting a rebound that was already gotten

Suns also could flame out, but I’ll roll with highest ceiling.

Yeah, correct take. They kept Ayton and Booker. If they gel they’re the favorites to win. Nuggets could be like a Steve Nash team, you can roll to 60 wins with mediocre defense and stall in the postseason.

But Simmons has negative trade value right now. Why would they give up assets to move him when they’re not gonna contend the next two years?

Jaylen 100% ran into Tatum's elbow to avoid going to the Nets.

As the bearer of useless info, I’m here to announce that unless we meet them in the Finals, we won’t see the new-look Suns, Lakers, or Mavs anymore this season. Still one more game vs. the Nets. We’ll be seeing almost-Celtic Poeltl in B2B home games in April.
