Don't think he's getting moved, Nets will just pay him I think

Yeah think it depends a little on how desperate they are to cut salary but except them to keep Cam and Bridges and spending the rest of the season deciding what they want to do with them long term

Agree Smith won't move the needle much. He's more of a piece for next year.

The guys who move the needle are buyout guys.

It's where he wanted to go. Plus, the nets probably didn't want to send KD to a team in the same conference, a team in the same division, especially a team that just swept them in the 1st round last year, not to mention a team that fleeced them a few years ago in the Pierce/KG trade.

They did to appease to his desires to be in Phoenix and do a favor so they look favorable to agents. It won’t end up helping lol but front offices care about that stuff how they’re viewed by players and agents
