KD not admiting fault for influencing the FO. Do we need to bring up the DeAndre Jordan fiasco that led to giving away Jarret Allen?

Maybe behind the scenes dirt will come out - Harden wanted to leave, too.. but from the outside that FO did everything they effing wanted, they picked their own coach and then got him fired, they gave Jordan's rattling bones a big contract..

KD, Kyrie and Harden are massive divas, who refuse to be held accountable.

Held accountable for what?
I don't know how you look at what unfolded in Brooklyn and come to any other conclusion than that Joe Tsai and Sean Marks are petty, overbearing, arbitrary managers. Tsai thinks he's running a Taiwanese sweat shop and can treat NBA stars like they are wage slaves. That's not going to fly.

Wall is going to get bought out if he is not traded.

Might bode well for the Dinos keeping OG.

Just be glad KD and Kyrie moved to the west. Let them beat each other up. We still have a rough road in the east even without the Nets. We need an additional big. We always had problems playing against a good offensive big. Vucevic, banchero, Allen and mobley, Bam, Giannis. We need that insurance. Doing nothing is a mistake.

I'd love that for Miami. The fans would get a false sense of returning to being a contender. Probably win a few more games and look legit up until the play offs. Then when they face us bring them right back down to reality :P

If I'm Butler I'd give the Heat a strict time frame to get the team back into contention then I'd get out he is wasting the last of his prime years there.

have to admit I was wrong: I didn't think BRK would trade KD now -- argued it'd be summer at the earliest.

Now that Conley is gone, PP could get a bigger role in Utah.

PP, Gallo, Jackson, and 2nd rounders for Olynyk?

League sources tell MassLive that Boston offered Payton Pritchard, Danilo Gallinari and multiple future second-round picks for the big man ahead of Thursday’s deal. Ultimately, the Spurs elected to go with the Raptors’ offer which included a top-6 protected first-round pick for 2024, two future second round picks and center Khem Birch.

Exactly.

Most will see that as a bit of an underpay but they are still in Tax.

Low risk high reward type of move as Cam has the potential to be a starting PF/SF on this team moving forward. Guy gives what is needed as either a super sub Forward or a sharp shooting starter.

We are not keeping both Grant and Cam so it makes sense to use Grant as the trading chip and save a pick.

I’m not trading a pick for Cam. I’m trading a pick for a championship. Could care less what happens after this season to be honest. You can always sign and trade one of those guys afterwards anyways since they’re both RFA

This is right out of the Danny Ainge playbook. We almost got him.

The PHX ball washing is annoying for sure. But that’s not even what’s bothering me.

The Brooklyn Nets for the second time in ten years created a super team and failed!!! Failed! And we are sitting here talking about Phoenix. Please guys, let’s just laugh at the Nets. All the crap they talked and they couldn’t make it far with players like Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Joe Johnson… the list goes on and on.

**** we almost made a finals with IT and Kelly lol

Lost in everything, at least for me, was that Conley was traded to the team he was to play last night. Which is kind of crazy. I saw a headline where he still warmed up with his old teammates after hearing the news. I just didn't realize they were playing the TWolves. Does that mean he went to the visitor's side then at halftime?! lol

This is the roster the stars wanted.

Can't fault the owner for not wanting to give Kyrie a max deal, after Kyrie's erratic behavior.

Poeltl too good to be just the 3rd Center behind Al and Rob.

I'm liking the prospect of Olynyk returning to the Celtics.

Glad Poeltl got traded. It made no sense for C's to give up a 1st round pick for a guy that wants close to $20m this summer.

Ideally, C's need a low-maintenance guy that won't command a 1st round pick back, is on a cheap (non-expiring) deal that can get def. rebounds, that's a solid team defender and is a clear upgrade on Kornet. Bonus if he can make 3s.

A lot of filters, I know. Guys that satisfy most of them are: Zach Collins, Willy Hernangómez, Naz Reid, Thomas Bryant.

Maybe Jalen Smith, although he seems more of a project then ready-to-play-winning-ball type of player.
