The bench portion might be the toughest ask strangely enough.

He still has juice in the tank and plays with an exceptional amount of effort.

This is like thinking Kyrie is gonna be a team player eventually

It's also like thinking Harden will become a sub 28 USG% player. Or that he'll take less than 15 shots per game... except that he has.

He's about to be 35 and has zero championships to show for it. I think the way he played in LA these past two years was a necessity due to him costing so much and them needing offense from anyone other than AD and LeBron. The dynamics of his role will be substantially different.

Harden was already doing those changes when he went to the Nets tho.

Westbrook even parted ways with his agent because of thinking he doesn't need to change.

Edit: Harden also played differently when he was on OKC.

Sad that Muscala is going to Boston and will go from a Sixers hero to a villain.

I took that ring away from him. While the Cavs are technically his drafted team, he re-joined them as a mercenary.

So LeBron has won zero rings as a franchise player by my super official record book that I keep in my head.

Kobe was the ultimate fraud since he didn't win a single one with the Hornets.

If he suited up for the Hornets and then asked out, he'd be just a mercenary like the rest of them, too. But Kobe was a 1 teamer.

Is Jordan a mercenary because he played for 2 teams? Is Kobe because he made a trade request in 2007? Is Kareem? Do championships only count if they get a majority vote on the RealGM Sixers board?

If Jordan won his 7th ring by linking up with another franchise player in another organization, that 7th ring would be a mercenary ring. His legacy would be what he did for HIS team. The 6 real rings.

Kobe was very lucky the Lakers saved him from himself and he was able to win two more rings after his trade request. Helping him stay very close to Jordan as the 2nd best player in NBA history.

Kareem won a real ring with his Bucks. So he was a legit champion before he disqualified himself from the GOAT conversation by bailing on them and heading out West to the Lakers. I'm glad he did, though, because he helped a true GOAT contender Magic Johnson win his 4 rings.

Championships only count if they're real ones. Like all the ones Steph Curry has won. And the one Giannis just won.

And its reported that they’d start Wiseman.

I dont like the guys they’ve drafted and their roster moves since this rebuild. Not a fan of both Ivey and Duren.

Nets might make it to the playoffs. Atleast the play in.

Definitely not.

Nobody gave up 3 first rounders for Anunoby and nobody was going to give up 4 first rounders for Bridges.

Bridges is an overrated defender for this season.

I posted about it on GB.

opponents shot better when he’s defending them.
his DRaptor is in the negative and Doncic obliterated him and the Suns defense during the playoffs.

His team averages 112 DRtg for the season
The defense is 113 DRtg when Mikal is on court
The defense is 103 DRtg when Mikal is off court, literally the best.

Im not saying he’s a bad defender. He maybe good but he is not THAT good. For me he’s overrated.

His 16-17ppg numbers were pumped because he played as a first to second option a lot this season when CP3 and/or Booker was/were out.

Mikal Bridge in 2020: 2.4% steal, 2% block

^ That's defense. Since then, his steal numbers have taken a tailspin.

I believe it started when tried to be more of a scorer, as his role on offense increased his defense declined.

He mentioned in JJ’s pod that he’s trying to expand his offensive game. Expand what? He’s not a good PnR or ISO player, most of his baskets are cuts, transition and c&s.

Everybody blasted them at the time, but Sacto was absolutely correct to take Keegan Murray. Ivey has been extremely underwhelming.

Duren has flashed a little. I still think he has a future. Not with DET, probably, but a future.

Keegan is perfect for Sacto’s system. They’re running that old Kings’ offense that we all love, while Keegan is playing that Peja role’s on that offense.

Pistons. A lot of guards who can’t shoot. And a lot of bigs with high upside but are likely to be out of the league or back-up bigs at the very best. Reminds me of a certain team.
