No it doesn't, We lose the soul of this team in bridges and pick up a player who doesn't fit any need except for maybe bench scoring. We need shooting and have just given away our best shooters for 34 year old player and have given away our future. If players are not lining up to come to the Suns the future is looking very bleak.

Hey man, I didn't make the trade. Nor did I particularly like giving up what we did. Seems like JJ got desperate and overpaid to save his job. Deal is done now though so what do we do? Hope for the best and a title coming back to Phoenix.

I am not mad at you. I am very disappointed in the Suns. let me throw some names out there and think about this Finley, Marion, and now Bridges; each of them were and are traded for better talent in Kidd, Shaq and now Durant in the hopes that it would turn into a championship. In Kidd and Shaq we ended up dropping. if we dont win a championship this year the window to the future is closed and we end up having Booker wanting to leave with no hope of doing a good rebuild before 2030. CP3 is 37 and Durant is 34 (injury prone) how much more time do we have? once they are gone without draft picks we end up looking to fill the roster with hope that people will come here.
Just say no to idiots!!

Main pieces we gave up:

- Both turning 27 and an expiring vet
- None are All-Stars
- 5 of 7 possible picks, 2 saved
- Got 6th man in return

If thats another teams deal wed say it was a good deal.

It better not suck. How many teams have won the championship having a below average defense? Cannot think of any

I don’t know. But who are we going to stick on the other team’s best wing now? I don’t want that effort to fall on KD even if he’s a good defender. Craig? Okogie? Ish? We already had enough problems guarding big wings before. Warren definitely should not be starting, whoever the fifth starter is should be primarily in to play D. Warren offense off the bench will be helpful anyways.

You will see what role player Bridges will be next season, while will be looking at injury reports like this season.

Right? Everyone screamed that the current group wasn't getting over the top so moves need to be made. 1st round picks were going to be traded to make that happen. If my choice is trading 2 for a guy like Russell or 4 for KD I know what my choice is all day long.

No risk it no biscuit, lets go win a championship.

I'll bet ya on the championship, no depth and often injures.

Cp will get pressed out of being much of anything in a playoff series

CP3 just had his playoff load reduced by 60-70%.

Depth? Suns had mad depth last year and it meant squat in the playoffs.

Plus what Western team has this deep depth? Griz lose Adams and struggle, Pels lose Zion and really struggle. Mavs are nothing without Luka and so are the Nugs without Jokic. One player can take you to the championship level.

We aren't winning this year, too much turnover already there hasn't been a single example in nba history of a trade this big mid season and a team winning a championship.

Has a player of KD's caliber been traded mid-season ever in the history of the league?

Taking bets if you are confident in their championship ability?
No matter how good a team is if the bet is that team vs the field then the field is better odds.

But I'll take the bet of championship during KDs time with Phoenix. Loser never posts on this board again. But since I'm taking the worse odds I want the clause that you can't post anything negative about the trade until KDs time here is done, basically we have to see how it plays out.

If you're down for that bookmark this and we'll have a bet.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Done, except I get to have to to vent for what I feel is a terrible trade, Shaq vibes when we traded for him. Kd is better but we gave the farm up

Nope, the venting has to stop and your line has to just be 'i disagree with the trade but let's see how it plays out'. Maybe put that in your SIG or something. That's for the life of KD being a Sun.

Honestly it was a worthwhile gamble and if KDs toe wasn't on the line against Milwaukee that year it might have worked.

Why is the media making this out to be "Durant joins a superteam in Phoenix"? According to everyone here, we suck, and according to the media 24 hours ago we didn't have enough to win a title OR enough pieces to trade for Durant.

I think the hardest part of this is that we won't get to see him play for a while. We're stuck with the memories of Mikal and Cam, we will have an incomplete roster until KD returns, and we will really need to stay afloat in the hyper-competetive Western Conference playoff race.

So after this season, Irving may look to join Durant here! How pissed would Dallas be then IF he left to join a conference rival they clearly despise!! Just to possibly see the level of meltdown from Diva Dallas fans and Doncic nut huggers would be so epic!! The icing on the cake though would be Doncbi*** getting really frustrated and leaving Dallas!.......
