But I'll take the bet of championship during KDs time with Phoenix. Loser never posts on this board again. But since I'm taking the worse odds I want the clause that you can't post anything negative about the trade until KDs time here is done, basically we have to see how it plays out.

If you're down for that bookmark this and we'll have a bet.

Done, except I get to have to to vent for what I feel is a terrible trade, Shaq vibes when we traded for him. Kd is better but we gave the farm up
Nope, the venting has to stop and your line has to just be 'i disagree with the trade but let's see how it plays out'. Maybe put that in your SIG or something. That's for the life of KD being a Sun.

How truly Ironic would it be if the Grizz traded for Bridges only to have him back in the western conference, And then he helped the Grizz stomp us even with Durant???

Mikal ain’t stopping nobody. Lol

Why? KD is one of the best grab and go players in NBA history.

That would suck. Would hope the Suns back out of the trade at that point LOL

So after this season, Irving may look to join Durant here! How pissed would Dallas be then IF he left to join a conference rival they clearly despise!! Just to possibly see the level of meltdown from Diva Dallas fans and Doncic nut huggers would be so epic!! The icing on the cake though would be Doncbi*** getting really frustrated and leaving Dallas!.......

Also had a chance to pair Nash, Amare and a young Tyson Chandler.

I'd like to hear what other trade(s) would have made both the Suns a favorite and soothed current naysayers? Saric for Jokic, Shamet for Morant?

Are you telling me if we got KG, Doc Rivers would still be ringless and possibly out of this league?

Nope, the venting has to stop and your line has to just be 'i disagree with the trade but let's see how it plays out'. Maybe put that in your SIG or something. That's for the life of KD being a Sun.

Deal, if you also don't say anything positive about kd as long as he is a Sun unless they win the championship and let it play out
Nope. Since I'm taking the worse odds I want that clause for you and not me.

I'm willing to bet my suns board existence to curtail some of the belly aching crying bull that plagues this board.

Wasn't he a fan favorite like Mikal and Cam at one point?

If somehow, we can have them all available and healthy, we are going to be very difficult to beat. Damn

That is if we make the playoffs.

He was absolutely a favorite of mine, feeling simiarly 'gutted' like I do today after losing Mikal and CamJo. But heck, I can 'rationalize' just about anything, to make me feel better, and having Warren back is one avenue, then realizing, depending how they line'm up, that Warren would be the worst starter-level player on the team, and that makes me feel infinitely better.

Still, it was nice having the knowledge at we'd always at least have one of our starters suited up to play, in Mikal--no guarantee like that now...

I think about this and the Amare for Curry trade (before Amare left for NY) trade all the time...

I've been here for over 20 years so, it's time you got yourself a deal.

Probably means my posting ends now, if they fail spectacularly I'll be back

Some words from Bill Simmons on Durante trade value in his trade value column. Ranked KD as 10th on the list and Booker as 9th. This was before the trade.

“The best scoring forward ever was thriving more than ever before his MCL injury. So why is that? Well, KD was already a freaking unicorn … now he’s getting less clutter, more space, more shooters, more possessions, less rim protection, and more room to operate in the Ultra-Efficient Pace-and-Space 2020s? He might be an EASY 29-7-5 guy for five more years. There’s some fun career stuff brewing, too: 35K points (he’s close to 27K), 5K playoff points (a six-guy list; he’s at 4,559), 27.28 PPG (fourth all time), 10 first/second All-NBAs (only eight guys have 12), second-best forward ever (he’d have to leapfrog Bird), and closest to 50-40-90 career (he’s at 50-38-89% right now, for real). And by the way, he doesn’t care about any of it. I just love to ball. It’s true. His career has ebbed and flowed with three wholly unique guards—Russ, Steph, and Kyrie—with Kyrie improbably becoming his Ride-or-Die. He doesn’t care how you feel about that, either. He’ll always be measured against LeBron, and if you compare them from 2010 on, it’s a way better battle than you’d think. That, he DOES care about. From a Trade Value standpoint—as we found out last summer—Brooklyn is kind of stuck. He’s too transcendent to trade unless it’s a Gobert-type package, and he’s too old (only 34, but still) to fetch any of the next nine stars. One thing’s for sure: I sincerely doubt the Brooklyn Nets will be Kevin Durant’s last team.”
