I was just saying the other day when all the Olynyk rumors were swirling, and everyone was talking about KO, I was like "hey, Muscala is a cheaper version of KO"

Muscala gives you pretty much everything that KO would give you. KO with more playoff experience but Muscala much cheaper, allows yo to hang on to Gallo and Pritchard..

Muscala shot the lights out the other night vs the lakers with the whole world watching the game where Lebron broke kareem's scoring record.

And Muscala was not that bad defensively that game either.

No guy they acquire will contribute in playoffs unless there are injuries.

Muscala is good Horford insurance and a serviceable 3rd big. 40% 3PT shooter and I'd argue will be even be better with the wide open looks he'll get in this system.

Solid depth piece and gave up nothing to get him. Gives you another potential option at least to throw out there instead of Jackson who did nothing

I don't know how you look at what unfolded in Brooklyn and come to any other conclusion than that Joe Tsai and Sean Marks are petty, overbearing, arbitrary managers. Tsai thinks he's running a Taiwanese sweat shop and can treat NBA stars like they are wage slaves. That's not going to fly.

This is the roster the stare wanted.

Can't fault the owner for not wanting to give Kyrie a max deal, after Kyrie's erratic behavior.

They didn't request a trade because the roster was bad, so what's the next post hoc reason you are going to come up with?
At some point you people need to just own up and say you just throw out whatever stereotyped criticism that's popular without having any thought behind it.

Muscala is fine, but he's not a playoff guy IMO. Elite shooting big, but will be exploited defensively. Two seconds is not a lot but this is whatever move. Doesn't crack top 8 when everyone's healthy.
