Because we accepted this team wasn't winning **** a while ago.

We had Kevin Durant last season with Kyrie and we still got swept.

This **** wasn't working.

And to be honest, Durant is not capable of being the lead franchise guy. He learned it the hard way.

He gets injured every year. Can't be a leader. And was literally sonned by Jayson Tatum in the playoffs.

I think Suns are a good situation for him. But more of the same wasn't worth it to me anymore.

Yes, this is the reality of the situation. KD is a great player, but he’s getting older, still picking up significant fluke injuries, and will only have an increasingly tougher time hanging with the younger stars in the league.

Unless you can surround him with enough quality players to do all of the dirty work for him (a la 2011 Mavs with Dirk), there’s a high probability that we were going to flameout in the playoffs yet again.

Considering how KD handled himself and led the team during the season (after his trade request), I’ll definitely root for him to do well in the West.

KD is a soft bitch. He wants a ready made situation for a Championship. If he were a true leader he would put this team on his back. Work with the front office to find another star. Hes not Dirk in 2011. He doesn't have it in him.

I think its all but certain Kyrie leaves this off season. For Phoenix or LA I don't know.

Once that happens Luka may start getting upset. In a few years he may want out. At which point we will have a ton of trade assets to get him. And this time we won't have to give up our own picks.
