At face value that seems like an overpay for a roleplayer but eh, with Giannis on your team you dont plan on being bad for the next half decade anyway so I guess its fine. Not like the Bucks can do much of anything else since they're out of assets.

Before this trade MIL looked a step below BOS in the east, and pretty level with Philly. This trade helps them even things out a bit against BOS, although I think they're still a bit weaker. There's no point waiting for the offseason when they can win this year. But they needed some small improvements to have a real strong chance against BOS. There's a lot of parity in the league this season, so this is the year small additions can tip the balance of power in your favor.
