I mean hypothetically we kill 2 birds with one stone in Rozier/Plummer, but not sure we have enough assets for both?

I imagine it would start with Mann, Kennard, and our 1st. RoCo as expiring salary filler, even though we all like him more than that, unless Morris maybe goes to another team in a 3-way deal.

For Kyle Lowry,

In the 31 games he played around 30-39 minutes splits this season; he had 39% fg and 31% 3pt percentages on avarage 35 minutes per game. It's clearly too much for his 36 years old body.

but, in the 11 games he played around 20-29 minutes splits; he had 43% fg and 39% 3pt percentages on avarage 25.9 minutes per game. This is more respectable and in line with his career numbers. His true shooting rises from 55% to 58% when Lowry plays less. This is good, for comparison Reggie' true shooting is 52% on 25.7 minutes per game on the season. Lowry at limited only 25 minutes in regular season should be enough offensively.

Also, let's not forget Miami is one of the best defensive team in the league and Lowry is huge factor in that area. He can still help our perimeter D more than any guard we throw out there plus provide acceptable shooting numbers, playmaking and leadership.

Nobody "wants" to blow it up, but our window is closed and there's no moves out there that can reopen it. We can either rip the Band-Aid off now and start over, or waste more seasons delaying the inevitable and get less in return for our stars.

And yes, Lue needs to be fired regardless.

Can some one elaborate on assistant coach ATKINS ?

was he the offensive coach? I recall during the lob city era , we had Gentry who helped our offense before becoming a head coach himself.

I feel like if a rumor is leaked then we can go ahead and take it off the table.

GMs lost their mind. New CBA has to put stop to this dealing a million picks BS.
Crowder is worth 5 picks + 2 or 3 rotation players ?
Thomas Bryant is worth 2 picks and a rotation player? What?!?!

Yeah. Clippers going to be holding an empty bag this trade deadline. Refuse to include Mann in any talks and don’t have the draft picks to get a foot in the door.

It is what it is.

We've simply run out of moves and the team we're stuck with isn't good enough. This is what happens when you have a front office who doesn't value the draft or player development and hires a "player's coach" instead of an actual coach.

You can thank our horrible front office for this. After how badly we got fleeced by OKC, everyone now expects teams to trade their whole future away for their players.

SGA is probably worth 5 FRPs now. :o

I blame Kawhi for that, more than I blame the FO. If he hadn't put a gun to our head, we might have shopped around and found a better deal for a second player. OTOH your influence is never going to be greater than while you're in free agency.

Leonard wanted to team up with Durant first. He chose the Nets and Irving. His second choice was Jimmy Butler. He chose Miami. PG was next and the rest is history.

Clippers keep their draft capital and SGA with Leonard on the Lakers instead. 20/20 and all that.

Maybe if we beg harder in public, someone will trade for Wall! We totally don't look desperate or anything.

Oh yeah for sure, getting a 2nd teammate was the only way Kawhi comes here so it is what it is. It's been water under the bridge for me since Day 1...our big move sadly got kneecapped by Kawhi's ACL injury. The same thing could easily happen to the Suns, but they can't know that in advance.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
