But would Durant have been available before the Kyrie trade? Seems like the only reason Durant got trades was because Kyrie left, and pretty much shot the Nets team to pieces.

That's why I said they got played. Nets had to move Irving first if they hoped to get anything of value for him. Dallas are just the suckers who bit.

Huh? They didn't have anyone on the roster close to Cam Johnson or Bridges to build a deal around lol and had limited future 1sts to send.

Dallas sucks and the Suns will eliminate them. Then Irving will bail. Career floater.

That's not the debate. They simply didn't have the assets to come close to what the Nets got from Phoenix.

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Lakers didn't have the assets to move Westbrook either. NBA is funny.

Huh? But they did by simply attaching a first round pick to his contract. We all knew that's what it would take.

Dallas couldn't sniff offering anyone near Bridges and Johnson. End of story.

Yes, but list it as Brad for trading him.

Agreed - Durant and Luka would mesh better than Kyrie and Luka. And Durant better defensively

Or just simply saying the Mavs didn't miss out on KD because they couldn't offer a competitive package to what was on the table to land a top 5 player in the league under contract for 3 more years.

OG likely getting dealt. Cavs also badly need an upgrade to their wings.

Lots to come over the next 75 mins

The thing about Hauser and Muscala is that the are playable vs the Bucks and Sixers in a playoffs series.

Let me break down a simple mathematical equation for people feeling down about the Celtics chances today.

You know they say that all teams are created equal, but you look at the Celtics and you look at the rest of the league and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another team, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But the Celtics are genetic freaks and not normal! So other teams got a 25%, AT BEST, chance to win. Then you add the Sixers to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but we got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because the Sixers KNOW they can't beat us and they are not even gonna try!
So, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus our 25% chance and the Sixers got an 8 1/3 chance of winning the title. But then you take our 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one with Philly, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, the Celtics got 141 2/3 chance of winning the title.

Return to Boston Celtics
