Pacers getting Hill, Hawks getting Bey, NY getting Hart. Teams competing with Chicago getting better. I'll take that as a small win.

Ok,I'm calling it. We end up with FVV, Koloko and Quickley in a big clearout.

Or maybe nothing whatsoever. Probably the second.

This deadline is turning out to have a lot more action, big and smaller.

Sixers just stole Jalen Mcdaniels...Thybulle just is too much of a negative on offense.

60 minutes

There is rumor that Lavine is being shopped by Knicks ... tbh i'm not sure giving up Lavine would make Bulls worst ...nor Knicks better

I love T-Ross as a teammate. He's so great. I want to move past him as far as looking for our future starter. I think we already have done that and he's still been cool with it all. Would love to bring him back on an extension that is in the $7-9M/year range.

They save $131M in tax penalty by moving Wiseman....What a disaster of a draft pick... Could you imagine if they would of picked Lamelo (or Haliburton)?

Why is TRoss a good teammate?

I get good vibes from his podcasts and getting insights to seeing how he really feels about his teammates and the Magic organization. Just a super positive guy that genuinely likes this team.

There was rumor that Bulls wanted to trade Wendell and 4th pick for 2# pick. That year Celtics wanted to get into top 3 as well.

Warriors had unlimited opportunities to cash in on that pick..But as it's often the case, 2# pick is way more valuable than just about anybody with name and surname attached and drafted with that pick.

And ofc, in matter of months whole thing turned into disaster.

Because he's awful.

And because despite what some fluffy articles about their revenue will try and tell you, the Warriors aren't gonna pay $32590234756 million in tax if they don't have to.

Would they trade him if he doesn't suck? Probably not

But pay him $12M a year to be DNP-CD commander and some crazy luxury tax in progress for him makes no sense

I always felt like Golden State made that Wiseman pick just because they thought he had the most trade value, and they thought they would be able to package him for something bigger. It never seemed like he fit their team.
I think they were terribly wrong in their talent evaluation, but even if he was a good prospect, they didn't really afford him an opportunity to use the strengths he did have and develop.
