4 seconds going to the Spurs. It will have to be a record for the amount of seconds traded in a single day goddamn

Given Graham has time left, this doesn't feel like great value.

Dumping Graham for four 2nds isn’t bad considering the tax issues starting next season.

Getting Richardson (and his bird rights if you’re willing to spend) makes this really solid for NOP.

I don’t hate it for SA though. It’s 2:30. There’s nothing better, take what you can get.

Agreed. Maybe they are hoping to rehab his value?

J. Rich was a guy I was hoping the Cavs would buy low on.

Edit: I wonder if the Spurs view Graham as more than a dump. They've lost Murray, White, Lonnie Sheldon and Primo over the last year.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I think Graham is actually decent, and better guard play could help SA quite a bit.

Yeah value wise this is not good for the Spurs. But sounds like they are hard core tanking again next year so not that bad really.

It is fine. There is value in having a competent [albeit low-end and overpaid in a vacuum] Point Guard on a roster with players you are developing.

Miami, Philly, DAL, BOS, Spurs, NOP in 2.5 years for JRich, impressive.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

Wait, I thought one second or two at the most was his value? Feels inflated because of the market but fine otherwise. Graham was once good enough to warrant a first. The Spurs can afford to see if he can figure it out. Would have preferred a first, but I guess they need to win the race for the most SRPs acquired this year. Seven and counting

This must mean that the Pelicans are not getting OG Anunoby? I like Josh Richardson, but I feel the Pelicans need to make bigger in order to become true contenders this season.

Fantastic for NOP. They dumped Graham and got a better fit for the playoffs without giving up any major assets.

The Pels 2nd unit running Jose and Devonte was always too small. Glad Richardson should fit better next to Jose.

Don't really care about losing 2nd's when the Pels have had some luck picking from the undrafted pile lately.

Yeah the Pels need to make a bigger move, but they dodged the tax next year dumping Graham and they still have all their assets to make a move this summer.

He was never good enough to warrant that 1st round pick though. That was a blunder by Griff who kinda panicked cause after losing lonzo that offseason he missed out on lowry and cp3 and went and overpaid for graham. He is an undersized sg who is a liability defensively and is not good enough on offense to be playing. He is a very good teammate though which could help out the youngsters.
