I think Pelicans paid the four 2nds to dump him. If so Devontae will have cost them a 1st round pick and four 2nds lol.

My guess is they wanted multiple 1sts for Rozier and kept getting hung up on. Probably wanted a 1st for Oubre too.

The only good thing is Mark gets more minutes to develop, but you can tell me Clifford will find a way to play a vet somehow at the 5 and I’ll believe it. I think I’m done with basketball until after the lottery. Hopefully we get the #1 pick, otherwise it’s pretty grim here.

Yep incompetent and overvaluing guys that they think actually make up a good core. Terry not being traded is the worst move in the league at the deadline

How many first rounders were moved at the deadline?
4 for Durant
1 for Kyrie
1 for Poeltl
1 in Lakers 3 way deal.

The rest was all player swaps and 2nds.

Apparently the GPII to Golden State trade might fall through because Payton failed his physical. I wonder if there is any chance of Portland being interested in getting out of the Thybulle trade since they might be stuck with Paytons contract and might not want both long term. I'm really grasping here, but idk lol.

edit: Probably can't renegotiate anything at this point anyways

It would have to be Rozier going back to them, not sure what else needs to be done. I think we would have to consider it though, he has his flaws but he can be a difference maker.
