Not sure how I feel about this. Does it mean Rozier is being dealt too? He and Jackson are a big redundant.

I think Reggie is an expiring after this season as well. Could Rozier be going somewhere? Trying to make sense of it.

No picks? Why the **** would we need another PG?

I wonder if this foreshadows a Terry trade as well.

looks like he is an FA after this year so maybe we are re-routing him elsewhere or looking to try out a back up for Melo for next year?

This feels like Terry is being moved on it makes no sense other than future money

Trading a vet for a.. vet. in the backcourt. Well, ok i guess. Clifford must be happy. The tanking fans. not.

An expiring for an expiring? I don't see much use here other than forcing Cliff to play Mark and Dicky more

We actually did it? Hot damn! If this somehow leads to a Terry deal, I will feel 100x better about the direction we're going in. Also congrats to Plumlee on what I'd consider a successful season as the Hornets C. I wish he did this last year though.

I'm going to miss Mason. I hope he gets a good contract in the offseason. He busted his ass this year.

He is making 35% from three.

Which isn't good.

But makes him the second best from distance on the team behind Melo lol

yay

Plumlee was actually fun to watch in a dismal season and he seemed like a good dude. Wish him the best.
I do like that we are likely going with the young guys at center. Mark should be playing and maybe Richards/Jones can get the back up minutes.

An upgrade from DSJ, at least on offense, but I'd prefer to just have another 2nd or two to be honest. They seem determined to never give Maledon another shot.

Still waiting for another move to make this all click.

We are stockpiling short point guards that can’t shoot

Jackson is old and sucks and basically just salary filler. If they didn't get any 2nds then they somehow found a way to make a bad Plumlee trade. Mike Muscala got two 2nds...

Feels like this is either a precursor to trading Rozier or we'll flip Jackson. Maybe both.

Doesn't make sense to trade Plum, who should've had decent value, for an old backup PG.

Plumlee is a better basketball player right now than Jackson. Hoping there is a 2nd or two attached.
