Brad's done well, but as Gasper from the Globe has noted,
Stevens still hasn't done one of those risky, multiple draft picks/pick swaps/
good players for a Star, which could come back to haunt the franchise.

Brad's made very solid, little-to-medium risk Trades: White, Brogdon, etc.,
which are fine, but may not result in a Championship or destroying
your franchise like the Nets.

This is Boston and we love our Shoot For The Moon types of trades
and perhaps we'll see such a deal after this season.

S&T GWill for Jerami Grant in the offseason. It’s a lock.

We kept the DPE, at least. Buyout market is tough, hard to predict.

What's your issue bud?

It doesn't matter what me or anyone wants. I can have my opinion on what I want them to do but I have zero say in what happens. Not a hard concept to understand but apparently it is for you lmaooooo.

My issue is you replied to me as if your takes are factual and there was no room discuss it. I did not reply to a single on of your takes, ones I agreed with or ones I didn't.

Actually you got upset when I replied saying the Mavs couldn't sniff the same package the Suns did after you said the Mavs missed out on KD. I'm not allowed to reply to posts of yours that I had a rebuttal to?

Of course you are. MAvs maybe can't beat the trade but well never know what they could of attempted had they known that Durant was available 24 hours later.

It's besides the point because Durant was never going until Irving was. It was simply conjecture on my part. Next time I shall refrain.

We already traded 2 picks for Muscala. Already traded our 1st rounder in 2023 for brogdon, not allowed to trade our 2024 1st rounder till july.

No one is gonna give us a wing who's better than Hauser for a 34 year old with a torn ACL. C'mon, be realistic here.

Sadiq Bey

Pistons instead chose to deal Bey for an athletic 7-footer who is only 21 and was the #2 pick in the draft. Guess they liked that offer a little more than a 34 year old with a torn ACL.

Pistons traded him to Golden State who then flipped him to Atlanta for 5 second rounders...

Did you not know that was the complete deal?

and sure...a guy averaging 7,2,2 for sure will be a better player in the playoffs than a guy averaging 15, 5 and 1.5

I think TOR, NY, PHI and MIL closed the talent/depth gap and entered the fray. Not to mention quality teams in ATL, CLE and BK (yes they should still be tough games) I hope we’re able to keep our home-court advantage. That got harder due to other teams’ moves. I don’t see any sweeps in the playoffs no matter what seed and getting to the Finals will be harder this season than last. This is great stuff though

I’d like to publicly promise to overreact to EVERYTHING next deadline. Just being entertained is not enough. Also this will be my only mention of it and if I’m called out next year I’ll overreact to that just for fun.

Once again, Will Barton fits this team to a tee. He's 6'6, he can attack the rim and he's shooting > 48% from corner 3s in 3 of his last 4 years (the other year being 44%). Renowned corner specialist PJ Tucker only surpassed 40% from corner 3s once in his career. Can also move the ball some (2.05 Ast/To ratio last 3 years). I don't think you can find a better fit in the buyout market

It’s unofficially over at what 430, 5? Teams can stay on the phone past the deadline if they’re finishing a trade..

Huh? Philly is still our little brother and a poverty franchise. Cute move to be a 2nd round exit again and not make the ECF since 2001.

The Bucks added a streaky shooter in Crowder who cried about not having a big role in Phoenix and sat out. The Knicks not even worth a discussion. And the Raptors are below .500. and Cleveland did nothing. Atlanta is a joke. And the Nets got much worse and we play them only once more I believe

Wings should be plentyful in the buyout market. I'm not worried. Boston has the most money and probably the best title chances.

Trolling per usual.

Ask him how Lowry and Westbrook are better than Jaylen Brown too.

Just got confirmation on the Devonte' Graham-Josh Richardson swap for New Orleans. Pels basically move Graham and four second round picks for a player on an expiring contract. This move will give some cap flexibility to the Pels, who have a quietly expensive roster next year once Zion Williamson's max extension kicks in. Graham was already out of the rotation and I wouldn't expect Richardson to come in and play a ton of minutes. Richardson does provide more defense and playoff experience than Graham. It wouldn't surprise me if Richardson ends up getting bought out if he can find a better home elsewhere. This move was really about getting off the $12 million that was owed to Graham next season.

Alright, Barton or J-Rich it is.

Seems like Barton is more likely to be bought out, since he is on a worse team that's further out of the playoff picture.

J-Rich was here last knows our guys, has familiarity with our system, buddies with Tatum.

But apparently, there's already mutual interest between Barton and the celtics in a buyout deal. And Barton played prep school ball in New Hampshire.

I'll take either of them.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)
