That's not true - they'll only have to play one of them.

Nothing they did today was going to change that equation. You're delusional.

I’m delusional to think we needed a better answer at back up C?

Couldn't beat the Celtics without 3.5 of their starters. But sure, a Plumlee was going to take us to the finals.

Which was going to happen anyway

Not if we traded for Plumlee or Bamba!

I am a Morey guy. His mismanagement of Doc Rivers has been horrendous.

Y'all are gonna blame another 2nd round exit on everyone but our two "superstars"

No, it's delusional to think that the Sixers are a backup C away from being better then Boston or Milwaukee.

There's not a move out there that would have negated the anchor that is Doc Rivers.

Sounds like despair

So if all that’s true, did you hope to not do anything today and just chalk this year up as another wasted year?

Call me crazy but I’m tired of not getting to ECF

Also have to wonder if we were restricted by ownership insisting we stayed under the tax line. Harris feels like he has moved past the Sixers and might want a tidy payroll below the tax line if he sells.

I'll always gonna say it, the mistake was signing Doc before Morey.

The fact Morey was in part brought here by Doc has clouded his vision about the guy.

The funny thing is even if someone thinks Doc Rivers is the worst coach in the world, who's the one who decided to keep him around after last summer?

Either way you slice it, Daryl Morey is more to blame for this team coming up short than Doc Rivers. He operates like a GM who has a job totally secure and has no extra incentive to make wholesale changes.

Dude came into city labeled by some as "The best GM in the NBA" and they've gotten no further under his tenure than they have under Bryan Colangelo.

Nah. He's not gonna sell till the new arena/shopping thing is built IMO.

Bamba getting in to fisticuffs with Austin Rivers last week pretty much cemented the fact he was never coming here
always a jump shot away.

He plays political games (with ownership) way more than I realized. I now look at most of his decisions through the lens of how ownership views it. He doesn't maximize title odds in the way he says he does. Josh Harris has him making decisions like a CFO.

Have you considered not being a fan of professional sports? Because the only thing that matters to any decision maker within an organization is appeasing ownership.

needed a minimum of 2 probably 3 first round picks to get anything that moved the needle. Even 5 seconds would not have helped that much. Good news is the teams we have to worry about stayed about the same and the Nets are out of the picture. Buyout market can net a better big. We are all in for next year, so yeah, this was about the best we could do before shelling out huge taxes for the next few years. We had one FRP, one SRP, and thybulle. Korkmaz was a victim of not having picks to attach him to.
