Raps are the ultimate losers

Yeah the Raptors may have made a mistake by not being sellers in the trade deadline. OG Anunoby trade value likely won't be higher than what it was before the trade deadline and there's no telling who's going to happen with Gary trent Jr. and Fred VanVleet in the Summer. They simply now have to hope that they resign in the Off Season.

The Raptors willingly signing up to be an unimpactful treadmill team with almost no young players or decent picks to continue to build around moving forward is just baffling. I'm a Blazers fan so I can speak from experience this is definitely not where you want to be as a franchise.

Maybe the offers for OG Anunoby out there weren't as hot as we were lead to believe, but also not trading Fred Vanvleet who's just going to walk for nothing in the offseason was a real head-scratcher.

They’re winners in my opinion. They stacked up on multiple first round picks for the foreseeable future and have a bunch of young potential stars. Their moves remind me of the Celtics moves when they traded Paul Pierce and Garnett

Honestly, the two biggest winners have to be the Lakers and the Nets. The Lakers remade their whole roster making major upgrades at multiple positions and they only had to use one first rounder to do it! Huge win there! They’re very lucky they didn’t get Kyrie.

The Nets meanwhile give up a team-killing cancer on an expiring and a currently injured 34 year old that doesn’t wanna be there who’s played a total of 129 total games in the last 4 years and they get….. 7 first rounders, Miles Bridges, Dorian Finney Smith, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Cam Johnson? Damn what a haul! They made out like bandits! The value is insane!

The Suns definitely gave themselves a WAY higher ceiling this year and they might even be the best team in the league when healthy, but they’re also one of the most injury prone teams in the league and I don’t know that they have the depth to survive when those injuries come. This could easily end up like the Paul George trade that looked like a home run at the time and now has the Clippers desperately chasing their tail trying to make something out of this championship window before they fall into the abyss of an ugly rebuild.

Got market value return for Irving and Durant given their baggage.

Can't complain about that.

Now for being put in that position by Irving... and for Irving being such a piece of **** that Harden ran away from that team... that you can complain about. But the return once he blew up the team seems like at least market value.
