He's nice, not sure if you'd give up a pick for a guy who will maaaaaaaybe win you an extra game or two in the first round. I kinda feel the FO did this just to acquiesce Thibs

You really think Hart is gonna win two extra games in the playoffs? Damn you are very optimistic.......He may be the difference between the losing margin against the Bucks bein -10 instead of -12....

They will trade either Grimes or RJ or both then sign Hart to 100M extension.
That's our front office.

RJ: 34.9mpg
Grimes: 30.5mpg
IQ: 27.9mpg
Obi: 15.1mpg
Deuce: 13.1mpg

You can probably cut 5 mpg from RJ and Deuce becomes a "situational" player - so that creates roughly 18mpg. Assuming Thibs stays with Obi as the primary backup to Randle, rhe remaining minutes would need to come from Grimes and IQ, which is unfortunate.

That is not how Thibs work. Most likely he get Deuce minutes and Deuce minutes only.

So now we have yet another role player. How many players is Thibs going to play every day? 10-11 players? We have the biggest collection of average players the league has ever seen. We should trade a bunch of them before they all lose their value.

Tried to talk myself into being really happy about the Josh Hart move, and while I get it, and it's not terrible, just feel like Knicks got bouncy Courtney Lee that likes rebounds

Depends on when these pieces are added really. I think he can have the same impact D-Rose had on the team coming in a couple of years ago as an energizer. Might still make a push up the standings and get to a nice spot.

We got the Landry Fields we thought we lost. We just need a Shumpert to put him against.

Really like the move. Solid role player who can do a little bit of everything and the rebounding he brings is much needed. Reuniting with brunson obviously can't hurt either.

Trading for cam ended up being a total fail and it's on the front office. If you weren't gonna fire thibs then trading for a guy he wasn't gonna give a real chance was pointless. I'm fine with what they gave up to get hart.
