and sure...a guy averaging 7,2,2 for sure will be a better player in the playoffs than a guy averaging 15, 5 and 1.5

Still makes no sense to give up 5 picks for a guy who is at best a 9th man on your team and will likely ride the bench for most (if not all) of the postseason. Especially when we traded 2 picks for Muscala, already traded our 2023 1st rounder for brogdon, not allowed to trade our 2024 1st rounder till the offseason, etc.

He would be the 3rd/4th highest scorer.

He would give Horford at the 4 rest
He would give more size and length at the sf spot
He is better than Grant

That 9th man stuff is nonsense

If Bey is our 3rd highest scorer we are a lottery team. On good teams, trash players don't get playing time and when they play, they don't get to shoot.

Grant plays lots.
Hauser plays.

I would take bey most times over grant and hauser.

Obiously not every time, but most.

Grant and Hauser shoot 40% from the three. Bey shoots 30%.
If we wanted someone to jack up a bunch of threes and miss them we could've just kept Justin Jackson.

They bet on Wiseman being a bust and Kuminga being better than OG..? Bob Myers has a foot out the door, those are weird calls.

Kuminga could be, his trade value might be higher in a year, but OG would’ve made them competitive now. Their window is over, the core’s getting older.

Wiseman has a low floor and high ceiling, he’s probably a bust, but if he shows up in Detroit, they moved him to get Gary Payton II..

So this is more about Bamba than anything, but for this team, I’d 100% rather have Muscala.

3rd highest scorer, LMAO. You don't just take the amount of points a guy averaged on the worst team in the league and score that same amount on the best team in the league. Get real, it doesn't work like that.

We wouldn't put Bey at the 4. All the mins at the 4 go to horford, grant, tatum and brown.

Bey is shooting below the league average from 3. He's not a very good defender, can't do much off the dribble, not a good passer/play maker/ball mover. -6 net rating last season, -5 net rating this season. Let's not get carried away with overrating the guy..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Damn the Warriors got GP2 again.
Everybody's getting dealt for 5 seconds now. A copy cat league.

Bucks getting Jackson scares me way more than them getting Crowder which doesn't scare me at all

I don’t see any sweeps in the playoffs no matter what seed and getting to the Finals will be harder this season than last. This is great stuff though

Uhhh, NY and Toronto? What are you smoking?

Do people even pay attention to what is happening around the league? Ffs. TOR just addressed their biggest need by getting the guy many in here wanted in Poetl. Should they sneak into the playoffs they could be a tough out. Why does this need to be explained to people? The Knicks got a scrappy Josh Hart who will buy into Thibs high effort D philosophy and improves their depth making them also a tough out. Forcing additional games in playoff series will tire us out and leave us vulnerable should any of our heavy minutes guys hit a wall. smdh why do I bother?

is there a mandate that if you still have your own #2 pick you get shot by a firing squad or something?

wow lots of roster churn today. Easy to say 'not much of consequence' but I guess we'll have to see how PHO and even DAL do.

glad CLE and MIA didn't find ways to improve

Very underwhelming trade day for Boston I want my money back.

Although I am looking forward to the trade deadline special where NBC sports can talk about Mike Muscala for 3 hours.

Ok, 2 2nds for Muscala, I approve. I'm probably so late on this one, but, my 2 cents....

EDIT: Checking to see WHICH 2nds....stand by.....

EDITED EDIT: 2029 and LEAST favorable 2023, still on board.
