At this point I'm just going to set my expectations to simply making the playoffs (prefferably without the play-in, which suddenly seems a lot tougher) and taking it from there. I'm still glad the Kyrie trade didn't go down (Mavs need to cherish every moment of joy until the summer) and don't believe the Suns are runaway favorites, but we'll see how it all pans out.

All I know for sure is that a lot of Western fanbases with lofty goals will be left feeling very disappointed in a couple of months. At least we're used to the feeling.

We'd be blowing the Mavs out right now with Shai and Gallo, just saying. But hey, let's give another roster spot to one of PG's friends as he disappears in every big game (the Kirk Cousins of basketball).

Gallo too huh? Yeah he was the true difference maker even at 100 years old

The point guard role is literally ruining his career and has him exhausted. Kawhi looked like he didn't even want to be out there tonight. What he take- ten shots tops? That's unacceptable. Telfon Morris always gets a pass around here and he was absolutely atrocious tonight! 2 points from our starting power forward who also, as usual, got cooked on the defensive end as well. I don't want to hear anymore hype on how Kennard and RoCo need minutes. Mann and Powell have the most heart and motors on the team but they're the ones being shopped? Go figure

I agree about PG. One of the main job for a coach is to put players in positions where they can be best utilized, in order to help the team win. Having PG run the point accomplishes the opposite, but Ty Belichick kept doing it despite all the dumb TOs. Keep having PG run the point is kinda like, keep having Montrezl play the 5 and guard Jokic/Embiid in the low post.

Some might defend Ty and say we don't have a true PG, so our options are limited. We are not the only team that don't have a true PG. Did Brooklyn have a true PG the other night when they played us? Their ball/player movement were so much better than us. Having a good PG will definitely help things a lot, but you can't see that as an excuse for our atrocious offense.

Clips have a lot of home games coming up. Being 14-12 at home is inexcusable and I expect it to change.
