Its over in the west. Writings on the wall, if it hasn't been for a while. Dame would have to be nuts to stay in Portland now, and I get the deadline was too soon, but by the summer, once the Blazers have been in the lottery and every teams gotten better (again), he's gone.

Just a matter of who pulls the trigger and has the contract to match.

I guarantee that your guarantee isn't guaranteed regardless of you saying it's guaranteed.

You cant guarantee that.

It's sad that they didn't spend their money wisely during the cap spike throwing out stupid contracts to Crabbe Turner etc. They were never the same team after that.

Didn't Aldridge cook the Rockets in back to back years?

I vehemently refuse to admit LMA cooked the Rockets. LMA only cooked Terrence Jones :banghead:

You kinda forgot why that team faded away, Matthews had a devastating injury just before he would be re-signed and LMA left also. Matthews never was quite the same player again, and a core of Dame+Batum+Rolo with some decent bench pieces wasn't going to be that great.

If LMA stayed I bet we would have kept more of those pieces and maybe found someone to replace Matthews. Crap McCollum was on the bench of that team barely seeing play so we actually had a guard to move into the starting lineup if Matthews was gone and LMA stayed.

If the Lakers fail to advance beyond the 1st round AGAIN, I think it's much more likely LeBron demands a trade than Dame.

I swear LMA cooked OKC from the mid range every damn game.

its easier to just say "roster sucks" than to for him to actually dig deep, do more of the little things it takes like sacrifice and expanding his game like it would on a great team.

As a Blazer fan, this is definitely partly how I feel.

The only other dude I really like in this league other than Giannis. My wet dream; to see them play together but that will never happen unless he comes in his twilight years on min vet. I think he'll eventually be moved but not anytime soon.

It's already been guaranteed.
