Were tanking guys.
All we needed to do was to pay Kyrie to keep KD and we'd be sitting here today as contenders. We all saw the price for role players was cheap at the deadline.
But no, Tsai had to wave his dick around and condemn us to 30 win land for the immediate future
Half our fanbase cares more about guys like Theo Pinson doing funny dances on the bench rather than winning games so nobody will care.
Trading KD with 3.5 years left on his contract while still having a chance to win it this year might immortalize Joe Tsai in NBA history.
Just a hilariously bad move, I thought the 8 picks for Harden for Simmons couldn't be topped. Well we've just done it
Keeping KD for what?
This team did not have a realistic chance of winning a title with no 2nd star.
And KD was not bought in. Maybe if he wanted to move forward and compete with this team it would be worth it.
But he didn't. And the Suns gave us a monster offer.
It made way more sense to just rebuild now. Then lose in the first or second round with KD. Trade rumors the whole season. And then he asks out again in the off season.
Like what was our end game? Keep doing this for years to come?
Durant is an amazing talent. But hes constantly injured. A terrible leader. And he only wants to play with other stars. He realistically has like 1 or 2 good years left after this.
It was clearly time to move on. Kyrie ended our title hopes the minute he demanded a trade.
