I know we said that about Paul and Booker the past two years, but we now have Booker and someone better than Booker able to run the offense for the entire game. I get that depth is important, don't get me wrong. But the combinations are endless when you have Paul/Book/KD who can all run the offense with almost any other combination of guys out there.

Let's hope Monty comes to the same conclusion and we don't have to watch any more disgusting all-bench lineups.

Pouring one out to the twins! I hope Bridges comes back to the Suns in 2026 since KD will be off the books by then.

What would you have done with your door poster?

I really did ask this question legitimately. Who was the other guy? I still can't remember the name.

You're probably thinking of someone further back in time, but there is a poster with the username SSOL that has/had some connections to the front office or someone close to the team.

That second tweet is Cam Johnson’s brother.

This is just disrespectful man that two players who did so much for this team have to find out online that they’re being traded. Seriously? James Jones has to be better than this, these players aren’t some scrubs he got rid of.

You can hear the sadness about the trade in Bridges voice even when talking about it. And Cam looks sad as hell in that shot they took of him too.

Both players that drafted here and we saw develop here. I don’t think either one ever wanted to go anywhere else.

Seriously, if we just win 2 more games against the Bucks two years this trade never happens. Or if we manage to not f***k up a 2-0 lead to Dallas last season and at least make it to WCFs.

lolol okay bro

Based on those two comments it sounds like he originally thought there was no way we'd consider trading Bridges.

In all seriousness I'd put the odds of KD having a real GM burner at like 50% and that might be low lol

In that case: Hi Kevin. We are all rooting for you. Courtside seats for your first game in PHX would be awesome. Okay thanks good luck bye!

Jeez
Just saw Saric gone too… locker room probably a morgue tonight. I cant fully embrace this till
I see 4-5 games…. got a sour taste. Do like the Tony Buckets return. Cant believe we didnt force Sham back on them. Depth is going to be a prob from here out. I guess get used to min deal players. Idk… this just doesnt set right. Like good money chasing bad

And to think i was just semicelebrating not having to start TCraig… can this Bazley kid ball?

And two thumbs down to Monty Jones and MattIsh for not face to facing the news. I like them less and less. BS on any culture they may have started. Out the window it went

I don't think he was ever nearly as beloved as Bridges, but it is nice to have him back.

I was probably one of TJ's biggest fans and I like Bridges far more (though I am also probably one of Bridges biggest fans).

How dare you!

Nah TJ was definitely well liked here. He kept his head down, worked hard and really produced but I think just those long mystery injuries just took a toll on his fanbase. Clearly we got the most out of him while he was here since after he left he only managed to play about 100 games over 4 seasons.

It's like waking up one morning and realising your partner isn't next to you anymore and then in your half awoken state you try and figure out why. Then you realise what happened and it dawns on you that that part of your life is now in the past.

But then you also have this hot new thing in your bed :dontknow:
Ok that hit hard. I lost my GF, the dog and now Mikal all in like 3 months.

That sucks. Especially the middle part. Loyalty is hard to find.

I dunno man, this consistently happens. I think Mikal and Cam both know very well how much every person from top to bottom in that franchise respect them. Who knows whats going on when those trades go down anyways. It's not like JJ just went to bed and figured he'd call them in the morning.

I would've been too chicken to do it. For JJ, this is his job on the line. It doesn't net a championship by the end of the 23/24 season. He's gone IMO. and rightly so

This was Ishbia...he told JJ to call back and do whatever it took to get it done after talks stalled and we were pivoting to John Collins.

To me this goes to show how quickly Woj and Shams get info out.

I reckon you'd all be suprised how little time they have once the deal is agreed and formal enough to call a player, before its tweeted out.

Highly doubt these two are smiling when they take pictures for the Nets. Sounds like the Nets dysfunction is about the same as the Suns with Sarver.

Bridges is always smiling. I am glad they have each other. If it was just one of them I could see them potentially getting depressed. They will be major pieces. They will be a fun scrappy team with loads of wings and shooters.

Big if... and that didn't happen sadly

Nothing else to blame but the players

Return to Phoenix Suns
