Overall bad game from Cam, but fingers crossed Vaughn sticks him in a film room to show him the areas for improvement if he wants to solidify a starting role.

Dinwinner os back though boyz.

DFS is the kind of player we've needed in here for awhile. He's got some goon in him

Which Cam? I lean Johnson.

I think Cam might end up starting at SF and Cam will be the 6th man. Tonight was a good evaluation game for Cam, the Bulls were swarming him and he took some bad shots. Some film session is definitely needed

Dinwiddie/Bridges/Cam/DFS/Claxton is a heck of a line up. Then cycle in Cam, Harris, Royce etc

And Yuta was not letting things get him down. He was on fire. I really like this make up, we need another big. Sharpe did his thing though

I think Vaughn is prioritizing evaluating the new guys right now, but Mikal and Cam are at worst top 6 players on this team. It will be really interesting to see which guys start racking up DNPs, because the team is way too deep.

Pick watch: Suns lost to Atlanta.

I think the core rotation will be (in order): Claxton, Bridges, Dinwiddie, CJ, DFS, O'Neale.

Then it's basically whoever is playing well between: Cam, Simmons, Harris, Yuta, and maybe Sharpe as the only other center

With Curry, Sumner, Mills likely not in the rotation.

And good call on that Suns pick. Could lowkey be a good pick this year with how close and stacked the west is.

i like that there's going to be a lot of competition for minutes. simmons first half might have been the most encouraging part of this game too.

Tonight was a step in the right direction for Ben but it's clear that he's a 35 million dollar bench player. I can't see him starting.

I really hate Cam's game. He has a poor feel for the game and that is difficult to teach. The difference between Kyrie and Cam as a scorer is that Ky will look for the best shot and Cam will look for the first shot. He has also missed wide open teammates multiple times.

He needs a tough coach if he wants be a winning player.

The fact that KD is still not 100% works against them.

We've got 2 1st round picks this year lmao.

That'd be my starting 5 too. Let Cam Thomas run the 2nd unit with Ben pushing the pace and Sharpe rim running and crashing the boards.

if he goes to the hoop like he did tonight idk. the offense flowed best when he was in vs. dinwiddie and cam (who were mostly trading possessions attacking and jacking). he still has some rust but he gets the pace up and finds open guys.

He's also a 2nd year player. Some of those things can def be learnt over time. He's a tough shot maker, so when he's missing it's gonna look ugly, especially at his size.

Watch us go on a 10 game winning streak now lol that would be hilarious. But like I said, no playoff team will want to see us, we have an annoying suffocating defense that no team will want to face. This was a nice win without Bridges and Cam. We can still win without needing Cam to drop 40 pts. I think Ben has to come off the bench now so Bridges and Cam Johnson can start. We have an abundance of depth, it's all on how coach Vaughn uses the rotations.

this has been my default position on him until the last week, and tonight is why i would have traded him for siakam (or whoever) if it kept kd in the mix. but it was one game and a lot of new players mixing in. id give him a few more starts and hopefully he settles in.

he's drawing a lot of attention from defenses now and that's something. he needs to adjust and be more selective.

We don't have anywhere near enough consistent scoring to win a playoff series, but yeah our defense would not be fun to play against. We could put out a troll lineup of Clax DFS Mikal Royce Ben that can all ably guard 1-5.

To me Cam is better served on the 2nd unit

No me gusta that tunnel vision

I'm all in on DFS. He shot wasn't falling and he still made a HUGE impact. Can't wait to see him play next to Claxton.

I missed Spencer. It felt like he went out of his way to let Cam get late game reps. Claxton is gonna get a lot of buckets cause of him.

Fun game outside of that stretch where Patty, Joe, and Ben tried to sell the game.

Dinwiddie
Bridges
Cam J
DFS
Claxton

I'll submit that preferred lineup

Simmons
Bridges
O'Neale
DFS
Claxton

that could be a ridiculous defensive lineup if Simmons can get going.
