I'd also add 'if he can't play defense' to that list. Mark was a good start, but we need so much more of that.

Yeah, should have been him at 13 and Mark at 15. Mitch's last two drafts have not been his best, but thank god we at least got Mark who looks like the long-term C.

If any of you are up at 11:00 tonight Ajay Mitchell plays. I have Ajay *money* Mitchel as a top 5 PG in this draft and could be someone we use our 2nd pick on that we reaquired for McDaniels.

UC Santa barbara VS Long Beach St - ESPNU - 11:00 ( Ajay Mitchel )

That game was fun. Ajay Mitchell is a really good PG. I have my top 4 pg's as

Anthony Black, Taran Armstrong, Ajay Mitchell, Craig Porter Jr

You should start a shared google sheet of all the prospects.

Give us your 3 best pros and 3 cons on each prospect.

Hornets would have pick 4, 29, 34 and 42 if season ended today.

Aww thanks man lol. If I had to give my top 3 (which is hard to do) it would be

pick 4 - Nikola Durisic, Brandon Miller, Jalen Wilson,

pick 29 - Taran Armstrong, Azuolas Tubelis, Brandin Podziemski - (I have become a HUUUUGE FAN of Poziemski)

pick 34 - Ajay Mitchell, Devin Carter, Grant Nelson,

pick 42 - Jordan Miller, Craig Porter JR, Agustin UBAL,

Brandon Miller is such a divisive player. A lot of fans want him, but there are also those who don't want him as a top 4 pick. What do you think is Miller's floor as a pick?

I think he is a better option than scoot or vw. I hope we go eitehr Miller or Black with pick 4. I think Miller has such an offensive repotoit (I know I spelled that wrong but I was a poor kid who didn't learn his abc's till 19 years old so spare me) .

I think Miller's floor can be a slot player. Kinda like McDaniels but better offensively and not as good defensively. I do not think he will be a franchise player but I do think he will be one of the better players we have drafted. Personally I hope we trade the pick.

Haven't got cojones like you certainly do, UNCNYC, but to answer Ian's question I think there's no way B. Mill falls out of the top 5. Maybe he can improve a few things but I always see draft junkies pushing rebounding as a solid indicator and Miller averages over 8 per. Imagine where he'll be when an NBA training staff puts more meat on them bones. He's one reason I'm cautiously optimistic the Hornets FO doesn't screw it up if we don't get to pick in the top 2. Probably. Hopefully.

Yeah I actually think Miller is one of the SAFEST picks in the draft. I think Miller, Jalen Wilson, Nikola Durisic, Keyontae Johnson,
Craig Porter JR., are all SAFE PICKS.

Just look below at Keyonte Johnson. Noone can tell me he is not a SAFE PICK. What a steal

We know you watch a lot of Anthony Black, UNCNYC, what do you think of his pal, Council? Didn't know he was from Durham, one mock had him going to the Hornets early in the 2nd.

Yes I have seen many games of his. I have not watched their games much in recently but when I did see him play I thought he could POTENTIALLY be a ball stopper. He as well as Terrence Shannon JR, and Khalif Battle. I don't wanna say they are I just thought they could MAYBE.

There are MANY SG's in this draft. One who I am a big fan of now is Brandin Podziemski. I think Podziemski might be better than Keyonte George if not even SG wise. I also like Judah Mintz a lot.

Some other 2nd round SG's are -

Jordan Jawkins, *Mojave King, *Reese Dixon-Waters, *Ben Sheppard, *Taevion Kinsey, *Armaan Franklin, Santiago Vescovi, *John Tonje, *Josh Pierre-Louis, *Kobe King, *Latrell Jones, Curtis Jones, Kario Oquendo, Jaylen Clark, Zeke Mayo

So as you can see that is a deep position.

I dont think Coulibaly will declare this year (most likely he will have responsabilities next year, but who knows), but you can see him along Wembanyama in the highlights of their last game (and they have a connection together, they have the same age)

Coulibaly is already solid defensively (very active hands, great wingspan, good iq basket, great athlete..) but he is learning at high speed offensively (knowing he is very mistake free, just like a guy like haliburton, rarely turns it over).
#0 white jersey . Profile being 2/3 wing defender (3D at worst, but who knows, curious to see how he will develop, i am really high on him).

I'm not a fan of Ricky Council as an NBA prospect. He plays kind of a volume scorer style on offense, but isn't a good outside shooter, ball handler, or passer. Hes kind of a pure slasher and I don't think he is big or athletic enough for that to be his main thing if he doesn't significantly improve his shooting. His IQ doesn't seem particularly good on either side of the ball. His defense is decent because he has solid size and really good athleticism, but it feels like he isn't quite as good as he should be.

The guys I still really like at the top of the draft are Wemby, Scoot, Anthony Black, Brandon Miller, and Jarace Walker. Cam Whitmore has kind of fallen out of my second tier for now because of his really bad assist/to ratio and inconsistent play, but hes super young and could easily end up back in that tier. I'm 100% hard pass on the Thompson twins.

Your guy Coulibaly is a stud. He will be good for any team. I like a lot of of euro players *Yannick Kraag, Mojave King, *Mario Nakic, Jayson Tchicamboud.

Nikola Durisic and Agustin UBAL I am high on.

I agree. There are a few other directions I would rather us go with that pick. I think Jarace Walker will be a good player but he is not my style of player. I have quite a few SG's ranked over him for the 2nd round.

What superbowl? Craig Porter JR is friggin SICK. So is Zhuric Phelps. that game was awesome. It went into double overtime and almost went into tripple

Craig Porter JR had one of the slickest studder steps ever to send it into oertime

CRAIG PORTER JR - 22 pts / 6 ass / 4 reb / 3 blks (yes I said 3 FRIGGIN BLOCKS. he is one of the few to ever have that)

ZHURIC PHELPS - 26 pts / 5 ass / 3 rb

Here is the sportscenter studder step
