dedmond or noel on the buyout

Whos a better fit for your roster? both guys will likely get gone in the next couple days from their teams. Id hate to see another situation where philly is -100000000 when embiid isnt on the floor because the backup is greg monroe, deandre jordan, or trez

Dedmond because he can hit an open three and three point shooting is all that matters these days.

Probably Dedmon? With that being said, can we sign a buyout player and still be under the tax?
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards/Council
George/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Dedmon because of his size.

If we just wanted an undersized guy that could get steals and blocks, Rivers would just play Reed.

I know this is semi off topic, but I don't even think we should go for another big man. I think we're set with McDaniels, Harrell, and Reed. Terrence Ross should be who we are going after. Again....Athleticism, can hit an open three, he'd be a decent fit with Harden. I think that's who we should be looking at assuming Orlando does buy him out. Will Barton would be a good addition as well.

I'm not really sure if there's a role for him... But I wonder if they try to keep the Rocket reunion going with Pat Bev.

Noel. Lob threat on offense with Harden and Maxey as feeders.

Noel because he’s the next David Robinson. Thats what they told me.

What would be more important on offense ; the lob threat or the big that can stretch the floor?..

For us?

Lob threat.

We already have too many shooters and unathletic guys who can’t score with Derrick White protecting the rim

Noel has a total of 3 dunks in his last 39 games played.

Is Noel that much better than BBall Paul? If not, go for Dedmon than.
But shouldn't we try to get a Terrence Ross or Will Barton first?

I mean, we can also play PJ sporadically at the 5. How many minutes would Noel or Dedmon really play in the play-offs?

Ross or Barton can really make a difference. They are an upgrade over House and there are minutes available at 2/3.

Not sure if we can lure them off course

I do think backup C needs to be addressed, but someone like Barton probably makes a larger overall impact.

He’s only better when he plays, which isn’t very often.
A bird in the hand {Desmond) is worth two not playing.

Neither. Harrell is better than both.

nerlens looked like bbq chicken the last time we played Detroit and he had to start. i'm not sure he'd help much.
