UKClipperFan .... come back, bro!
I wouldn’t be against getting Westbrook—I’m the guy that suggested during the offseason that he could come around and have a pretty good year, which is sort of what has happened. The thing with the Lakers is that their bench is/was so poor that Westbrook felt—kind of rightly—that he had to do more. If LeBron and Davis weren’t out there—man, that is a weak team. A PG coming off our bench, especially now, is in a totally different situation. If your second unit includes Norman Powell, Bones Hyland, Nicholas Batum, Robert Covington and Mason Plumlee, you’ve got legitimate scoring and shooting at all positions.
Still think Bones is the one that’s gonna help us.

Maybe not. But … maybe he will. Last year, against the eventual champs, he actually played pretty well in the playoffs. He had a bad Game 5—but put up 10.5 points and 3.3 assists in 17 mpg with good shooting in the first four games. He was 21, ffs. I really think he can give us 20 solid minutes at the point—we’re talking 10-3-3.5 sort of stuff—in the playoffs now.
