The reason is because Ayo is the guy Westbrook would be replacing in the lineup, and he can't shoot for ****. He also can't break anyone down off the dribble. He does absolutely nothing, which is why Zach, Vuc, Pat and Coby so rarely get open catch and shoot 3s. We need more firepower, not less. Westbrook is going to give it by collapsing the defense and making passes to open guys that nobody on this team currently has the ability to try.

U bum @russwest44 already said he ain't going to Chicago! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to Chicago was a great honor until AK showed up!

He'll choose the Miami Heat, but I would be just fine with Brodie becoming our new starting point guard. It's simple for me, how many guards do we have that's better than Westbrook? We could use a basketball psychopath like Russell Westbrook.

What happened to the Clippers? I thought they were the frontrunners and PG13 was recruiting him?

Haha...sorry, old reference. It's meant to be a light-hearted parody of a Lebron tweet that was politically-charged. It was originally about Steph Curry (instead of Russ) not going to visit the House that championship teams typically visit.

Bulls need another good shooting guard or wing (who can defend decently) in the worst possible way.

Do you honestly think a player of the description and caliber is going to be bought out and kicked to the curb? Anybody even serviceable with that skill set either wasn't on the market or was added by some team in a trade yesterday. The Bulls had nothing to offer to get this unicorn.

They're probably going to hitch their wagon on the games of Mann and Bones.

Haven't you said that trading for somebody that isn't a shooter is a non-starter? Unless it's Westbrook? A little contradictory but ok.

Not at all. With a trade you’re getting rid of a player. Getting rid of a guy who can shoot and for a guy who can’t is literally losing capability.

Just signing a guy off the street without losing anyone who plays is expanding the team’s capability. You’re not losing anything.

At this point since the Bulls made absolutely no moves Russ is the best they can get to finish the season. Ball isn’t coming back. Russ has his flaws but he would be a lot better than the PGs we have now. Get him and hope for the best, got to try something. If they can get Barton too, even better.

I feel like this is a win win for us. Billy and Zach’s relationship seems horrible. We aren’t contenders but we also aren’t tanking. This will be horribly bad or amazingly good. Either way it’s entertaining. Gives me a reason to watch the rest of this season lol.

This given he even comes. We might lose to Miami in which case it doesn’t matter.

I was pretty much checked out watching anymore Bulls games... Westbrook would at least make me check out a game again.

I don't think is that bad. Westbrook could help us or hurt us. We have nothing to lose. At least he plays hard.

Westbrook does get us closer to our goal of fielding a team entirely made up of UCLA and USC alumni.

What's OJ Mayo up to?

Surprising. I'm guessing he was promised a starting job in Chicago vs bench in Miami.
