With more and more games played, I see it clearly now, Okafor is the answer we need at backup center, we need his scoring punch off the bench.

Why pile in Paul Reed? He played like an all star tonight.

I can all but guarantee that if Doc put Harrell in there instead of Reed, the outcome would have been very different.

Kind of disappointed that we saw House before McDaniels tonight. I fear he'll be the latest to be glued to the bench.

This team is not on the level of Celtics, Bucks.

It's cavs, heat, level at this point. I have seen enough and don't think a couple of buyouts will change that.

The BBall Paul stuff is cute and all and I'd rather see him out there instead of Harrell, but c'mon folks....Neither should be playing meaningful minutes in the playoffs.

Because many people like him despite being a worse player than Harrell, -3.20 RPM vs -2.27 RPM.

Harrell is definitely the better player. I mean that stat right there proves it. Good work bro.

If Maxey played this way, we could have won against Celts. Its that simple

If Biid, Harden and Maxey plays at par, we’d be on the same level or even better.

You're moving the goalposts on Paul Reed here. You can't just take one little half of a sentence and use it against someone in an argument. That's not how this works. We're talking some serious basketball here and Paul Reed is at the forefront of it. The guy is going to be a star!

Can you give me the ORPM, DRPM and RPM of every Sixer on our roster?

With who? Boston and Milwaukee? I disagree. Both those teams simply outclass us when it comes down to it. We're not winning a series against either one of them. Not until Embiid can be 100% healthy and focused the entire time. It just hasn't happened yet for us during his career. We haven't gotten that perfect combination. You can simplify what it takes to be good at basketball and so much of it comes down to just desire and effort. Obviously the skill is there with this team, but the desire and effort on a nightly basis is not. We were dead for 34 minutes of tonights game and then finally turned it on for the last 14 minutes. In order to beat Boston or Milwaukee or even Miami in a seven game series, we have to be locked in each game, the entire time, for the entire series. Remember the dread some us started to feel when we were up 3 zip on Toronto and we lost two in a row? All the talk about Doc choking in the playoffs and how if there was ever a team that was going to be on the wrong side of history it would be us? I don't know man, there's just a lot going against us right now and I don't think it's our year. Playoffs absolutely, maybe a second round exit if we stay healthy.

Looks like we’d have House Jr. replacing Thybulle’s role/minutes while having Jaden McDaniels playing back-up C (Reed played this role tonight)

And at the same time, we’d be on the same level because of this.

I already posted in the other thread about the “basic instructions before watching a sixers game”

You can’t play locked in for full 48 in REGULAR SEASON. Because we’ll get burned out. We dont have any ironmen here, except maybe for Tobias.

If Biid plays hard on defense, his offense will suffer. So he usually just turn it up in the fourth or in pivotal moments of the game.

Its just the nature of having a injury prone with average stamina superstar big as a primary scorer.

What you need to look at is..

- how good is our extra gear
- how good is the bench to give us cushion by crunch time
- how good are we in crunch time

I think this team is elite on these 3 things.

This team can lock it up on defense if they want to, like tonight.

Maxey and Ninang can provide us with 30 off the bench, almost consistently. Milton providing 10 would be a bonus.

Biid and Harden has been cooking in crunch time.

What’s not to like?

You are both one of the best defensive team in the league and best offensive team in the league.

You dont have any weak links on defense except for Maxey..

You have the second best starting unit behind the Nuggets. A very potent bench.

Which leads you to either have cushion in crunch time in most games.

And in crunch time, you have the two of the league’s best ISO scorers and the best PnR action in the league.
