The week of the draft we heard rumblings that there were off court concerns, but unless he turns out to be the 7th Memphis cop... we (Tommy) blew it big time.
I'll never understand how so many people on this board can see the obvious pick (This board almost universally liked Dyson & Eason), and yet people paid my annual salary in a month (And I make a decent wage) seem to screw it up over and over.

I know I have said it before, but the Super Max Beal signing is not what has/will doom this franchise. It is the inability to compliment him with young talent on rookie contracts.

You replace Kispert, Todd, and Davis with Tre Murphy, Herb Jones, and Eason... this team is a playoff team with elite defenders. Those 3 also make Kuz expendable and you get another decent vet (Filler) and 1st.

Alas...

So dope to see Kareem and Shaq. Kareem passing the rock to LeBron after the record.

As for the game Bron scored 38 on 13-20 shooting and was a +8 in his 34 minutes. And they still lost with AD playing like shyt.

There was a moment in the 2nd quarter, Bron sat for a 3-minute rest after having already put up 20 in the first half. Lakers had literally all of their non-Bron talent on the floor. Lineup was:

Westbrook
Schroder
Pat Bev
Hachimura
AD

Thunder immediately went on a 15-3 run against that lineup to open up a 15-point lead and never trailed again.

Westbrook and Pat Bev need to be shipped off :lol:

I wonder if this fanbase would be more optimistic about Johnny Davis if he was playing 1700+ minutes in the NBA, and posting a 52% TS with a bunch of turnovers and was dead last on his team in on/off differential, and one of the 5 worst defenders in the entire league on a 15 win team?

No of course not. Players that good are given a lot of grace. But if he doesn't change whatever path he's decided to go down, yes he could jeopardize his career.
