Kyrie is really going to benefit so much from all the attention Luka draws at this point in the game.

would have lost that challenge but that female ref saw nothing and just made it up
Ball clearly went off Hürter and he then slapped Pinsons leg, which is what the female ref must've seen as the ball hitting Pinsons leg.
BTW the only thing worse than that ref is the female broadcaster on the Kings broadcast that I'm forced to watch.

I think the last time we had a reliable FT shooter was when 41 was on the court.

I was going to say that Kyrie’s 90%+ from the line is really going to help the Mavs in the 4th quarter too.

Complete game changer. Pretty much eliminates Lukas only late game weakness.
Remember a few weeks ago we discussed how every top team has at least 1 85% FT shooter and that the Mavs desperately need one. Kyrie obviously is even better.

Kyrie's the best 4th quarter scorer in the league. He should close games out.

I could see Luka dominating the 1st and 3rd quarters while Kyrie dominating the 2nd and 4th. Luka is obviously not scared to take that final shot but with Kyrie’s ability to shoot free throws he’s the obvious closer.

I think all our bigs minutes will be situational. Against Sabonis that was clearly throw our biggest bodies and best defenders at them. I think Wood would be the top choice against small ball.

7 guys in double figures so the offense is balance looking and that makes winning easy. Luka will be back next game and it should work out to be another victory so looks like 3rd in the west is on the horizon.

Re: RS 22/23 - Mavs @ Kings (Frid, 10PM EST)
Final thoughts
Green was phenomenal, I have been in multiple arguments with Suns fans this week about how Green might be better Ayton and Paul and this all around performance is ammunition.
The run and gun is fun and defiantly needs to be incorporated but Luka will cure some of these overly heroic tendencies. Luka will get them more organized, they border on electric and chaotic right now.
I want to see Luka screen for Kyrie the same way Powell has been doing. The defense then can't trap Kyrie and if they hedge against him Kyrie can lob it to Luka and Luka then has a 4 on 3 to attack. Right now Powell is getting the ball wide open at the free throw line and doesn't know what to do with it.
I want Tim to play like he did for most of the night. Patient and calm. A 6 man role will be good for him.
If Dallas can get this stuff out of McGee all of a sudden Dallas has an actual big man rotation. McGee was doing well against Sabonis and was deterring shots at the rim.
Nice to see Wood with his shot back.
Great to beat the team right on top of you in the standings.
For the 3rd game in a row every Maverick that touch the floor contributed in some way.

Green already doing more than DFS on the court. No offense to DFS who Im sure is a great human being. But Mavs need to unleash Green now. Just to see where his ceiling is. He'll benefit from a lot of open looks being the SG between Luka and Kyrie.
