I’ve always seen KAT more of a Dirk-type and have always wanted us to pair him with a C exactly like Kessler.

Despite the numbers, Kessler’s shot does indeed look good. I think he can absolutely develop/show that he’s a capable shooter if given the opportunity - think KAT/Lopez; just give him the opportunity.

Plus, he’s an Atlanta guy just like our own superstar in the making (Ant). Can I see a bromance form like other great SG/C pairs? You bet!

This was actually my very first post on this board.

I would have loved to see the Atlanta/Georgia bromance between Ant + Kessler, but that dream is gone.

In hindsight, I would never have done this trade. Gobert has been underwhelming (it’s still early), and Ant just does not seem to have any connection (on/off court) with Rudy. I still have hope for the Rudy trade to be successful once KAT comes back.

I predicted #1 seed for us, but don’t think that’s going to happen. I can, however, still see us as a top 3 seed, which will be a success if we can continually compete at that level for the next 4+ years.

I would be really curious to see where he goes in a re-draft.
Banchero, Chet, Mathurin, Murray have all looked pretty good and Ivey very talented.
I would put him in the top 5 for sure.

Great pick just a shame we traded him away before we could even get him in the gym with some of our guys.

The level that Kessler has played at is the one thing that makes me regret trading for Gobert so far. Not the other players and not the future FRPs.

The horror of 2022 summer trade. It would be hard to even script it any worse than it went down and continues
