If Luka is back. Then my biggest thing to watch for the Mavs is the starting line up. Tim has to go to the bench but I’m afraid Bullock will go to the bench.

Back to back against same team in the same arena.

This is a true test to this team. I hope Luka is back tonight.

Luka adds 33 points that we can use.

Defense needs to be focused on and McGee being old is a concern on back to backs so we should hope Powell and Wood are up to the task to pick up the slack but McGee might be able to go and perform like he did last night again and if so we do not need to add another big off the scrap heap of cuts I was hoping he was just saving himself for the play offs and is ready to tune up for them.

Luka
Kyrie
Green
Wood
McGee

Hardy
THJ
Bullock
Powell

Pinson with Luka back he may stay on the bench we may play like a playoff game with the guys above
McKinley Luka and Kyrie take all the minutes at PG
Morris May need his fouls on Sabonis so we can get to see what he brings and if he fits or not. If not any benefit on offense Silva is there to use

I'm going to be watching three things with Luka back:

Pace
Movement
More Josh offense

I want to see the ball and player movement continue with Luka back. We've seen the team move it without Luka in the past (mostly unsuccessfully), but with this new lineup full of ballhandlers I'd like to see it continue. It's paid off big time the last few games.

The faster pace is a big reason why players have been moving more, and Luka needs to make sure guys keep running on the breaks. Even if that just means throwing it to Josh or Kyrie so they can run it.

I want to see Josh continue handling and attacking. He needs to be averaging 15 points and 3-4 assists here on out if this team is going to contend. He's capable, but whether he'll be confident enough with Kyrie and Luka in the lineup is the question.

Ball movement is a must. I have been exposed to seeing what it’s like with Kyrie. Night and day. Not even sure why we never had such ball movement with Luka at the helm. There is no excuse. I know the offense can have movement like this with Luka. Any basketball player can do this. Should be a good night. Cmon let’s get closer to that 3rd seed.

Mavs have been the 11th best defense in the last 7 days. And that is all without Maxi our best defender.

If our role players can keep up this intensity we will be a force to be reckoned with.

We did against the Clippers 22th Jan. After a fantastic 1st Q we got slower and slower. At the end Luka was dominating the ball the whole possession. That style matches Green way better than DFS (every possession with him handling the ball was practically doomed). Really excited how Luka interprets this information. He doesn't need to play to evolve his game.

I think defense is a team factor unless you have a lockdown defender like Kawhi or Lebron.

Absolutely and Kyrie’s attitude of don’t force anything and play as a team has been great so far. If these guys believe they can go far and that the they all matter it brings out the best in the other guys. They’re all not looking to Luka to carry them right now.

In playoffs that is an idea. But Maxi’s body can not handle the stress of starting full time.

Excited about seeing Luka and Kyrie. Horrified at the prospect of another couple of hours of clueless female Kings broadcaster.

It sure is a lot of offense vs defense.
