Some of them are chill. There are other Suns fans though who can be trolls. But some are following the team because of Mikal so they are welcome to do that.

I wouldn’t start Finney-smith. He can’t score. The others are good enough defenders to not need him. And in the end I would have put O’Neal in the game instead of him. Don’t really lose much on d and he is clutch.

Not a single Suns fan in this thread voiced an opinion any different from than most of the Nets fans here.

Not sure what your problem is.

Definitely struggled with tempo throughout the game. Sometimes felt like we found a great rhythm and sometimes totally disjointed mess. Joe was hot and then disappeared for a while. Rotations need work for sure.

JoseRizal wrote:I blame JV on this. We lack offense and he benches our only proven creator in Cam. Also, in the final second, how come he didn't bring in Joe, Cam and our other 3 point shooters? Clax stayed on the floor as if there's a possibility for an alley oop or an offensive rebound? I'm puzzled tbh...

It’s hard to blame anybody when starting lineup got 4 brand new players

If I have to blame I blame no one today , first game , it happens

I don't get what Vaughn was thinking. The starters besides Bridges were not shooting well. He had a chance up 1 to call time out, draw a play, get Thomas and Harris in, but kept riding with Dinwiddie, DFS and Johnson who were having rough shooting nights. Go offense-defense. Before that, we go 5 minutes without a basket, and he doesn't try to find a spark from at least one of the two guys that were getting hitting shots.

Also, Patty's minutes should go to Sumner.

“canning our coach” I know damn well you don’t think Jacque Vaughn is a good HC and should be the Nets HC next season as well. Or if you do think so, feel free to come out and say that.

Vaughn has been solid and has had these guys prepared to play every night.

yea. Suns and KD are solid with me. if it weren't for the draft pick, I'd be rooting for the Suns to win the west

some of us, well. maybe just me.. are debating if we are still Suns fans or Nets fans and while that is an exaggeration, the Nets are definitely my second favorite team atm and i am still unhappy the Suns traded these two and so i will likely be watching them for awhile

Very disappointing result but there were a lot of signs for encouragement. The twins were awesome in their first outing, and our defense will be a joy to watch for the rest of season.

First 40 minutes were excellent. Last 8 horrible. We went away from the playstyle that got us the lead for reasons unknown.

Fun loss in all the best ways.

Joel is a beast who's getting to be positively Shaq-like in his ability to get down-low for automatic baskets. Not quite as point-blank down low as Shaq, but with much better touch on his bunnies. He used to fade by the 4th quarter, so credit to Biid for being an ever-improving MVP candidate, and difference-maker in this game.

Next time keep the ball moving in the 4th quarter, and this team is going to be a nightmare to handle.

yeah It just felt like they were all unsure who the closers are or how to execute in crunch time, that will improve.

The 6ers didn’t panic then went on a massive run when it mattered. BK went 5 mins without scoring. They never could put philly away. As many free throws as Philly shoots Brooklyn needed a double digit lead to ensure Philly couldn’t get back in the game by shooting free throws. It’s sickening how many calls they get.

That's the problem when you don't have a clear cut #1 guy.

All-star level shot creator will unlock this teams next level. Won't happen this season so I'm just going to enjoy the defense, the player development and take any Ls as a win since it betters our pick.

Like JV pointed out in his post game interview. We held hem to 101 points. If we can continue that kind of defensive pressure good things will happen.

A lot of us enjoyed the organic growth of the team. We had four solid guys who the Suns developed and made it to the Finals with. We were hoping we could build off of that. Instead, they trade 2 of those 4 guys, for KD. I get it, it's KD. But now we only have two guys that are homegrown, and many fans don't even like the other one because he was drafted ahead of Luka. So Suns fan are in a tough position. Also, a position that we aren't used to, Suns don't typically get star players like this. It almost feels like this isn't our team anymore.

Anyway, I'm rooting for the Nets, I think you guys got a lot of depth, and Bridges is actually a better 2 than a 3, and Cam is a better 3 than a 4 (Suns had them as 3 and 4 since we got CP3 and Book). Good luck the rest of the year!

The Nets scored 2 points in the final 6:52. I enjoyed the game overall but was very disappointed in Vaughn in the final 7 or so minutes. They pounded the air out of the ball with Dinwiddie then asked him to make something happen with the shot clock running down. I hope Vaughn learns to just run a more traditional offense in the final 6 minutes or so to generate good shots for all the shooters currently on the team.
