And nets get ball back with 0.3. And embiid would give up back door dunk like he gave up vs Celtics the other game this week.

Thank god we won though. We didn’t deserve to win the game

Just shows you how meaningless regular season games are.

We slept walk trailing against knicks last night 70%
Of the game as well

The Nets scored 2 points in the last 7 minutes of the game.

Kinda seems like the whole teams confidence is shot outside of Harden/Embiid

Yeah Niang is also on a horrible hole lately, Maxey is also a game to game support. Shake is so irregular i'm not expectingt anything from him on these stretches.

Postives, McDaniels is a wing defender that can stay on the floor lol

Harden and Embiid were gassed in the last 3 minutes.they had no lift because they were carrying that Bum Harris all night .

Yup except instead of Devin Harris who beat us tonight it would have been Tobias Harris lol.

I like what I saw from McDaniels. Want to see more of him. Hell, start him instead of Tucker.

These have been the most fraudulent wins

Sadly, you may be right about that. But the truth is, every win we've gotten this year has been pretty much a dogfight. The season itself is a marathon and after watching this team for over thirty years now, I finally understand that.
We've gotten a few cake wins, but not like in the past. Every game has been competitive and nothing has been given to us this year. These have been tough competitive wins all year long. At least we'll be ready for the postseason.
The thing with Brooklyn tonight was that you knew they were going to go cold in the fourth when things got tight. They have a ton of new guys and our opportunity was going to come. It didn't look good with Tobias and Maxey missing shots. I don't know WTF is up with Tobias, but he's got to get it together. He was on fire in December and he's cooled off. Maybe the All Star break will do our guys some good. Hell it'll do me some good haha...It can't hurt for the players to just reset their spirits and move forward towards the playoffs. Who knows? Maybe we figure out this perimeter defense issue and really hit a stride.

I debated going to this game and decided last minute not to go. Glad I didn't. I can't imagine being more annoyed at a 36-19 team than I am at this team.

We need to sign a big man and the best available player we can get. I don't care what position.

Experiment with starting Maxey and McDaniels and benching Melton and Tucker. Let's see how that works.

Melton was low key bad today to the point where Maxey became the defacto starter with 34 mins.

Jalen McDaniels! What can I say? I really like what little I saw of him tonight. That three he hit in the fourth was massive! Talk about stepping up under some new circumstances. Doc kept him in there for defense with the game on the line at the end. That tells me that we have big plans for him in the future. He's like a more athletic Covington...I really like this kid. Not going to put a ton of expectations on him, but if that three point shot is true to form, we've got a legit 3&D player on our hands that is versatile enough to play with the starters if necessary.

Relax a bit. This team is great. Top 10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency. And two hall of famers playing at a high level. Just enjoy the ride.

Tucker/Tobi/Melton have combined for 5 pts.

Truly amazing to win a game with such a trash-tier performance from 3 starters.

Dindiwiddie also helped us a lot.

Guy became an iso machine at the end when he took like 5 shots until that moment. Inexplicable

To be fair though this was a tough game to win on a back to back on the road. It’s good to see Embiid having enough left to defend like he did and still produce what he did offensively. Harden looks better too and actually beat some tough defenders today. This was a tough matchup for Maxey. We probably won because Harrell was benched.

Defense stepped up. Yes, Brooklyn missed some opportunities, but it felt like we made everything hard for them in the end. I'll take the W. Good luck to the Eagles tomorrow!

EXACTLY! People need to chill on the criticism and negativity. We should all know and understand this team by now. It's not hard to read, but people still seem to not be able to do it and they overreact instantly as soon as things aren't perfect.
The season is a marathon as are games like this one tonight. Anybody that knows basketball knew that Brooklyn was going to have a hard time in the fourth hitting shots. Anyone that knows this Sixers team knew that we were going to ramp up the defensive intensity once Embiid came back in. The majority of these games have been the same continuous wash, rinse, repeat kind of cycle. To be honest with you, I like our chances more in games like tonight then I do in the ones where we jump out to a big lead only to have it evaporate by halftime. Those are the games that cause me to rage. Tonight was exactly where we needed to be. We got Houston up next if I'm not mistaken, hopefully we can go on another another win streak. The All Star break will be a welcoming site. We've got a gantlet of a schedule coming up.
