I doubt they resign Wood...if Kyrie resigns they might go for better fit

I mean the Kings can't stop him right now so let him cook. If the Kings get someone to slow him down he'll move the ball more.

Its the development of Green that's really pushing Christian out. He's gonna be 18-5-5 sooner then later. Why play a poor defensive center if you've got 3 dudes who can score.

Nah, honestly I'm so over this hyping up Dodo thing here - I like the guy too. But tonight he produced 5p 8 reb in 34min on 2-8 shooting, as he did all the time for us. And solid defense doesn't make up for that black hole. And it's solid defense not DPOY candidate level defense.

Luka's current off ball strategy is to take a breather on the side and let Kyrie play a 4v4.

Massive end to the half to climb out of that double digit hole. What a shot by Kyrie to end the half.

Offence isn't the issue here.
Please cut down on the damn turnovers and we're good.

Agreed, this has some room for improvement

Re: RS 22/23 - Mavs @ Kings II (Sat, 10PM EST)
There is going to be a lot of nonsense comments about ball movement and tempo after the game. But people need to figure out that Mavs wouldn't play like this even with only Kyrie.
In playoffs game slows down a bit, they absolutely need to get comfortable playing with eachother. People having hot takes after 1 half when 3s (for the most part) weren't falling, is kinda dumb.
No matter how their offense looks like, teams simply can't stop Doncic, and any smart coach will build offense around that type of player.
Luka/Kyrie +10/+12 ... Hardy/Pinson -16/-15
Defense is the key here aswell. Roles are now kinda reversed because best defenders are more or less in the starting lineup. Maxi is going to be the key here when he comes back and Wood has to try harder.

You guys weren't kidding about the homerism of the Kings commentators. This is Celtics level bad.

Agreed, this has some room for improvementI didn't get why Kidd played Luka 12min to start the game though.
His defense was actually solid in the first half and he was carrying the offense so if he needs a couple breathers I'm okay with it for now. Kyrie in a 4v4 is dangerous because the floor is wide open. Also Dallas hasn't even had a practice with a healthy Luka and Kyrie yet, I'm ready for Luka to set a pick for Kyrie. I want a team to hedge Kyrie and Luka to get the ball in a 4v3.

I'll take a potential impact player over one that doesn't shift the needle.

With Maxi out Sabonis is just a huge mismatch. He has foul issues, I think Luka should hunt the switch and put him in more trouble.

Why isn't Morris getting some minutes...if there are minutes for Pinson

Exactly, and that reality is that you're not gonna win a championship giving Dodo 35min a night. So you gotta play to win.
