I definitely wouldn't mind Jackson because he is a finisher and has solid experience running the point as a starter or a bench guy. He'd definitely be getting Payne's minutes and make him expendable as well he should. If not Payne, Shamet is the odd man out.

It's a real shame we could toss him in as filler on something. He has been hugely inconsistent his entire tenure here and it would seem that's his MO everywhere he's played.

Damn those KD #s in long midrange are crazy. And short range up there with Ayton.

Our 3 pt shooting will get a little worse with trade though. We thought we relied on the mid range before. The hot 3 pt shooting teams may be hard to keep up with and we were not particularly good at defending the 3. That will likely even take a hit as well.

Yeah I would be cool with Holiday. They've been linked to him in some past rumors so he could be a guy they target.

I think I've settled on Holiday or Barton as my top two picks.

Only thing: it seems like Houston is open to keeping Holiday and he said he's "excited to play for the Rockets"

If Payne is healthy - Barton or Holiday
If not I think it’s Reggie J

Even IF Payne is healthy, I'd rather we take Jackson.

Starting to see why you guys wanted that Vanderbilt kid, he's everywhere on the court. He reminds me of a raw Bridges. Can easily guard the 1 to 5. High energy player :o

Interesting that CP and Book have the most success on the same side of the floor while KD is better on the other side.

That sucks. He could really have been useful here. I hesitate to say this but......Russ? Has it been long enough for him and KD to be cool with each other. He'd give us fire off the bench and a guaranteed 15 or so a game with 6 dimes and same boards I'd bet.....

Losing out on Reggie sucks. We need at least 2 buyouts or else I’m not feeling great.

Barton is still the best guy available IMO.

I'd like Kevin Love, but I don't see why the Cavs would buy him out. Especially if they know he'll be signing with us

Very true! that's why I'm prioritizing K love and Kaminsky for the frontcourt , and maybe someone like Justin Holiday, Seth Curry, or even Bryn Forbes if we're looking at wings that can hit the three. I'd prefer Holiday over Forbes only because Forbes is a terrible defender. And at least Holiday has a similar skillset to Bridges on a lower scale of course though. Really I'm not opposed to waiting awhile longer to see if K Love and Seth Curry might get bought out? And who else might join the buyout list too in the coming weeks. I of course do have a few names from the unsigned free agency pool that would be great under the radar options for our 3 pt shooting needs too IF the buyout pool ends up being shallow for our needs! players currently available like: Sam Merrill, Nik Stauskas, Daulton Hommes, Wayne Ellington, Langston Galloway, Nate Darling, and Sean Mcdermott. :D

Russ plans on staying with the Jazz. He is not walking away from a ton of money. Suns might not be looking at backup PG, which is a good sign for Saben Lee, and hopefully means we are getting Payne back soon. I would imagine we are going to look at Justin Holiday. If Love gets bought out I could see the Suns grabbing him too.

Bummer about Jackson. I guess George Hill would be my next choice. I'm far more concerned at G than wing. If Paynes healthy he's a better option than anyone out there but they need insurance for his foot. I don't trust Shamet.

Payne is a better option than Jackson too, theres value in the sheer amount of minutes Payne has in Monty's system and with Booker and Ayton.

I think Justin Holiday would have been a better get, but maybe the Rockets don't buy him out.

Ross can score the ball and is a good shooter, but how's his D?

Terrence Ross is the guy.

After Suns owner Mat Ishbia and coach Monty Willams joined the pursuit, G Terrence Ross plans to sign with the Phoenix Suns, sources tell ESPN. Ross, finalizing a contract buyout with the Magic, brings his 38% 3-point shooting to Suns' title pursuit.

You forgot to mention they lost Booker in the first round with a hamstring injury and who knows how healthy he was versus the Mavs, ,my gut says had it been the regular season he would have sat out a lot more games like this year but in the playoffs you absolutely try to play through it if you can.
