Breaking news! Kyrie felt disrespected from the last play and requested to sit for the rest of the season. Cuban considered to fire Kidd to calm the situation.

Luka probably rethinking pushing for that trade. Maybe he wants Dinwiddie and DFS back now so we can do iso ball again. At least he can score 50 that way. In a loss though.

So im gonna charge this game from Luka to being rusty coming from an injury. Hoping he figures it out the next game with a bit more practice in. You want anothet star on your team, so your GM got you want you want. Time for you to figure it out. Ball is on Luka's court now to make adjustments.

Good news from the three games Kyrie played so far:
- He is not a ball dominate like Luka
- He can ball when his attitude is focused

Bad news:
Luka doesn't know how to play with another super star. He and Kyrie won't gel easily. One of them has to make sacrifice in order to have team success and that's not easy at all.

My premature prediction: Kyrie isn't someone nice and loyal like Spencer. Kyrie gonna be Kyrie after the honey period is over.

Team is in a good spot overall and it was the first game of the duo. Hope Timmy is ok, need Maxi back, and they need a buyout who can soak up minutes.

Kyrie saw today that when Luka plays off ball, it's like playing 4 vs 5 as Luka just stands outside. You need a lot of movement and cutting like the last two games to keep the defense guessing. I dont know man. Maybe Luka can set a screen for Kyrie and they play a two man pick and roll?

The best superstar that gels well with Luka is a big man who doesn't need to have the ball in his hands much. Jokic and the Greek freak for example. I feel like Mavs should copy that Kobe Gasol type of combo instead of two skillful ball handlers.

Are we still relying on the Luka desperation 3 out of time out late in games?!

I thought we looked good tonight. No reason to panic. Kings played well, especially Davis off the bench. Had some playoff atmosphere to it late in the game. Our guys hit some big shots. Not bad for first game with Luka and Kyrie.

Changes I’d like to see:
1. The Luka isolation, where he starts outside the 3pt line, needs to be limited. Too much standing by the other guys. I prefer his isolation in the Dirk mid range area after a switch (e.g Huerter or Davis), he either gets to the basket, draws a foul, or passes out of a double team.

2. Hope Luka can get comfy shooting catch and shoot 3s. Maybe he can catch and then take a step back to feel more comfy.

3. Would like to see Kidd use more situational starting lineups at the 5. Start McGee against the teams with gritty big guys. Sabonis absolutely destroyed us in the paint.

Kings are no joke. Fox is soo quick and his pull-up is on another level.

It's a loss in a 2nd night of a B2B in hostile arena against a good team, check how the team looked in B2B against the Blazers with the old team...
Late game execution sucked, Mavs didn't bapitalize having 2 ball handlers and Luka threw the ball away twice, it'll be fine.

This Pinson experiment has to be over. Powell should not play big minutes. McGee, Bullock and Wood has to be motivated. Maxi has to stay on court.

After this game, Mavs weakness is on full display:
1. Slow pace, allow opponents to jump into passing lanes. Players are standing instead of moving around. Not as motivated as last two games.

2. Incomptent coaching and wrong substitutions. This puts a lot of holes on defensive end. In particular, lazy passes, giving up offensive boards, let opponents score at will in paints.

3. No answer on Fox without Ntilikina on court. On the bright side, Green does a decent job until getting picked away. Green needs to learn how to defend pick-n-roll. Bullock and McGee are lazy at times letting players blow by and not jumping to block shots. Powell is just bad paint defender.

Again, the Mavs is do-or-die or three balls. Why couldn't Luka play the same way alongside Brunson? I think the post-up game make things easy for defenders to contest perimeter jumpers and generate fast breaks.

Ntilikina has to be part of the rotation. And a Maxi type of big is needed. If Wood can somewhat fill that role, things may be easier. Unfortunately, Wood struggles again, not to the standard Powell does. Hardy also needs to be better defensively in transition. Green needs to help more in clutch time. Green can't defer when left opened in clutch moments.

I think Luka has to prioritize quickness in athletic training instead of putting up muscles.

Those Pinson and Ntilikina minutes were terrible guys, they can't really play

Luka with a bad come back from injury, probably he is not a 100%.
Kyrie is a better player off the ball than him, he can play every single situation. What a baller.

Josh was amazing, again. Bye bye to (ghosted) haters

Wood is a bucket but he isn't on the same page with the team, i don't know why. ISO player.

This L hurts. We need time for improve the chemistry.
Obviously the hole in the middle can't help.

After the embarrassing loss Vs the Wizards, team is 6-3, team went 3-2 on the road trip, all 3 losses are on the road, with 1 heartbreaker loss and 2 close loss to the Warriors and Jazz.
Next up is Wolves at home and Nuggets on the road then ASB.

Kidd screwed the Mavs tonight.

I hope there are only experiments.

I would like to see Kief against small ball Sacramento, Sabonis and Lyles aren't real C.

Theo Time has to be shut down. That was only good for 1 quarter.
