to be honest, sinkerballers pitch better when they are more tired....so i cant blame torre for going with wang....the fault has to be on the pitcher for getting trashed twice....

to be honest, resting for only three days and come back and play in comeback game is hard for any pitcher.

TEAM LOSS

Can't blame on player

One thing is certain. All the young kids played well
Cano, Melky, Joba, and Hughes got great experience. Even Shelly

poor shelly.. dudes 2 for 4 in the series, then you saw when he was on deck in the 7th he was so siked gettin advice from a-rod pacin back n forth, only to be pinch hit for in the 8th for the giambino.. dude was cryin after the game too literally..

I wouldn't be that quick with such predictions. Again, he's a great prospect but leading the rotation next year, that's a lot for a what 21 or 22 year old...

Well mo, the key is guys like Hughes and Joba have already proved they can be more than good on a big stage, Hughes was great as was joba, both proved that. I think next year these guys lead the way, keep a good vet pitcher like pettite and we still have wang...

yes and paul byrd and his slow, crap, garbage, lolly pops he throws at home plate could not be smashed by the yankees.. that is appaling. Although I want the indians to beat the sox, paul byrd will get murdered by those hitters... ortiz is licking his chops I am sure...

We were absolutely atrocious with RISP, and that was our downfall last night. When we hit HR's, they were just solo blasts, so we couldn't make up the ground we needed. Wang was simply awful this postseason, and we needed him to be an ace. Jeter was suprisingly bad this offseason and really killed a lot of drives. That double play ball in the 6th or 7th was a game killer. Our pitching was worse than the Indians in this series no doubt, but I really think we could've overcome this had our bats been more efficient in some key situations.

We need to resign ARod, Rivera, and Posada and go from there...

exactly, and in the playoffs, you have a nasty 1-2 combo...

I hear mo say he was going to test the FA market, that the yanks had the chance to sign him before the season... I mean damn that is cold.... Mo better not play himself like that...

For some reason, I was suspended but I have no idea why... so I wasn't here for Game 4.

Very dissapointing that we lost this series. I can't believe we didn't hit Paul Byrd. He had absolutely nothing. He was terrible. We let him off the hook. "He made his pitches" blah blah blah, no that couldn't be further from the truth, we just let him off the hook.

Our pitching was pretty bad this series. Just terrible. In 4 games, we got about 15 innings from our starters. Just abdominable.

I don't think there is a luckier team in baseball than the 2007 Indians. How many bloops can you get in one series? That was disgusting. Meanwhile, the Yankees hit rockets right at fielders and they were caught.

Just a frustrating series. Hopefully next year our pitching will finally improve with Joba, Hughes and Kennedy in the rotation.

I blame our bats for this series lost, but its over with and now we have to pay attention on the offseason

ARod shouldnt be askin for more money man, if he played differently for us durin the series i understand but when u dont deliver you shouldnt get rewarded.

I dont want Torre to leave but i think you have too, wasent this year his last chance??

If we cant past the 1st round 3 years in a row, i think we need Giradi
