Yep, he'll be behind Green, THJ and Bullock, with Hardy battling for minutes at small 2 and Bertans at the 4.

Stanley Johnson released by the Spurs, big forward with 3PT shot, emergency option, don't think he'll see time unless multiple injuries happen.

Yeah. After being spurned twice, I didnt think Cuban would be interested. Maybe Wil Barton's another name that would be interesting. It's a minor off the bench role for whoever is interested.

Green is pretty done.

Barton could be a good cheap option if he can defend a little bit.

I guess there were just no defensive big man candidates that could be had for Christian Wood + filler before the deadline. Clearly he's in Kidd's dog house now and they've look at different players they could trade for. But no takers. Not even for Mason freakin Plumlee. So if its not a clear upgrade then no use doing a trade.

I don't know why but i don't think they were looking for a trade for another big...

Boban maybe bought out, if nothing else materializes, I'd love to have him back.

Ibaka is done right?
Holmes wont be bought out, maybe dedmon could be useful.
I would be happy with barton and dedmon - was really pissed we didnt get any trade done after kyrie.

R.J. Hampton may get waived or bought out by Orlando.

He's 22 years old and from Dallas. I view this as investing in young talent and nothing more.

Do this and eat the bill with Frank. Won't happen like you said upside still may be there.

I'd take Stanley Johnson and RJ Hampton. Hampton likely doesn't even crack the rotation this season but I do think he has some potential. Always a fan of taking that chance on talent for cheap.

Stanley I think helps as that strong wing. We absolutely need at least one more guy we can throw out against the star wings and at least be competent enough defensively. Green and Bullock can't play all 48 minutes.

Stein just said Mavs will pursue Justin Holiday if bought out. I like him more because he can do a little more then just stand still shoot.

That's not a bad pivot off of Ross. Not the shooter but a better defender. Could easily soak up some minutes.

Yeah Ross probably wanted thr starting role in PHX. Best Dallas could offer is an off the bench role just for depth.

We still need a center.
Morris provides enough depth at the 4, but we really need a 7 footer, or at least someone who is capable of guarding one other than McGee.
Hoping Noel gets bought out.
Would love to add Noel and Barton.

Not crazy about the structure of our team going into the POs.

Nico never said anything about getting a big man so its safe to assume they are happy with the current big man rotation. What Nico mentioned in his interview was to get some wing depth but a pretty minor off the bench role.

I think they'll use the remaining games plus the playoffs to assess whether to max out kyrie. If Kyrie gets a max contract, Luka will extend and stay as well. So it seems like the front office will take their time to build this carefully. We may not win championships every year, but thats not a realistic goal anyway. I think they will take their time in this department.
