Injury report: Seth Curry, Out (left adductor strain)

2-0 versus the Knicks this season. How's the new squad going to hold up in a short trip over to Manhattan (and with at least one practice all together  )

Let's see who we got starting tonight... any guesses? Same as last game?

The starting 5 should be the same IMO. You want to build at least a little continuity if possible. Would be great to have that lineup set the tone defensively like they did last game as well.

As for the bench, Vaughn really needs to drop Patty. I like Patty and I'm sure he's a great locker room presence, but that should be the extent of his role barring injury. Get Sumner in there help defensively and give the second unit someone that can push the pace.

Also, i think Vaughn needs to give Mikal the green light offensively. The ball needs to be in his hands more.

4th qtr ISO offense should be scrapped. We don't have two super inflated egos on this roster anymore. Team basketball in all 4 quarters should be preached. I don't want to see what we saw against Philly, Spencer has to pick and choose his spots on when to attack and when to give the ball up to Mikal and CJ.

Also I’d add in small minutes in matchups with DayRon off the bench against Jericho Sims, etc.

No Joe?

Agree Sumner > Patty. But... is Patty out there as a support system for Ben Simmons? (Aussie connection thing)

Ben, Cam T, Joe, Yuta, Royce would be a hell of a fun run and gun 2nd unit.

Maybe, but prior to these last two games I'm pretty sure Ben played the bulk of his minutes without Patty on the floor.

Some of Knicks fan IQ , I quote from their game thread ….

"Nets got a lot of 3 point shooters , it was easier to beat them with KD Kyrie and Harden then it is now "

When did you beat us shmucks last time ?

i like going with the same starting lineup.

probably start bridges on brunson and dfs on randle to see if we can give them both some problems right off the bat.

The Knicks are going to go all out to win tonight. This is like us doing all we can to beat the Celtics after our losing streak to them.

Should be a good game.

JV is killing us with these rotations.

Sharpe first one off the bench. Simmons playing next to Sharpe. No Cam yet. Very weird.

I believe they just said that Joe is the first player in nba history to have 12 plus threes in so few mins. Well that’s probably because no other coach would be dumb enough to keep that player on the bench so long lol

Ben Simmons does not deserve to play. There's nothing to salvage. The sooner the team realizes this the better.
