Yeah that's the silver lining. That, and the fact that I'm hoping Masai and get picks from another team. Basically so they can "tank" for us.

Rupert is the guy that will jump in workouts.

That's my comp also. TBH a few guys I'd pick before him.

I think Maxwell Lewis has a chance to rise with workouts. He has all the tools.

Yep. IMO he has the chance to be the best player taken outside of the lottery, if in fact he is taken outside of the lottery.
Which isn't as sure a thing as it was at the beginning of the season. He has everything you're looking for from your modern wing. If he ever learns to become a passable defender, watch out.
Rupert looks a little more Thybulle than he he does Batum. Batum was horrible after leaving Portland but Portland Batum was a very, very good player.

Time will tell. I don't see anything like Nic Batum in his game. Maybe closer to Oladipo's style.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospect discussion
What do we think about Jett Howard? His efficiency/shot looks good for a freshman, but he doesn't really fill the stat sheet in the other major categories.

I have an unrealistic love for Jett. In particular I love his size, handle and shooting. Aside from his obvious flaw (defense), he has a lot of work to do in order to round out his game. He has a good assist-turnover ratio, but doesn't get many assists. He's also a pitiful rebounder for someone his size. It could be fatigue from having to score, but it's concerning nonetheless.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospect discussion
Taylor Hendricks also putting up some good numbers. Seems like there are a lot of interesting big guards/wings who could late lottery.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospect discussion
In our range
1. George
2. Whitmore
3. Walker ( with trades)
4. Jett
5. Wallace or Black
Sleeper : Max Lewis or Taylor Hendricks
This draft is weird because if you told me in 5 years Max or Taylor had better careers than Jett, Whitmore or Black I wouldn't really be shocked at all.

IMO Taylor is solid, very OG/Grant-ish. It's a really solid draft with players that can significantly bolster either the starting lineup or bench. TBH we need a bench in the worst possible way.

Hendricks shooting close to 40% from 3 with a TS% close to 60. Also has solid rebounding and stocks numbers.
That's pretty impressive as a freshman.

The Expanding Big Board
This past week, each member of No Ceilings submitted a Top 60 Big Board for our latest Consensus Big Board. During these exercises, I spend a lot of time breaking down players, potential outcomes, and rankings. As such, there was more movement this week. Enjoy!
1. Victor Wembanyama (1)
2. Scoot Henderson (2)
No movement here. These guys are both quite good.
3. Brandon Miller (4)
4. Jarace Walker (5)
5. Cam Whitmore (6)
6. Ausar Thompson (3)
7. Amen Thompson (7)

He seems like RJ Barrett with better shooting.

He's who I want after Cason and Walker but I think with us trying for the playoffs we'll miss him if he's drafted 10-15.

He's a really easy prospect to project their archetype at the next level (3+D) . My on real issue with would be how much he can develop his handle. If he can make progress there then his ceiling could be higher than imagined. Plus him being former teammates with Scottie is always a plus.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospect discussion
Even some of the g league guys look interesting - Miller, Cissoko.
Drafting late lottery, mid 1st is tough because you need to scout basically everyone. Guys projected to go in the top 10 might slip so you need to know about them and then you gotta also look at all the guys projected later in the 1st to make sure you didn't miss any potential sleepers. There's a wide range of possibilities.
