Well, you missed Orlando win its 4 road game in the last 5 road games.

Edit: This was supposed to be a brutal part of the schedule, but Orlando is playing tough on the road!
Four more road games over the next 6, then a nice home stand follows.

He has 4 yrs. $178M left on his contract and averages 60 games a year because of his chronic knee problems. Plus, you would have to trade for him.

If you want to take a chance on a player, offer Middleton 4 yrs. $120M and don't give up any assets.

I gave so many benefits of a doubt to Lavine over years. And after last year i tapped out. Guy is as dumb as he is athletic.

Him and Westbrook are textbook examples of dummies on court. Basically accidents waiting to happen.

Wow - didn't realize that last night's game was Fultz's first time playing at United Center.

I find the Fultz comments interesting. I don’t want to start another multi page debate like every game thread, but I didn’t think he played any differently then he normally plays. He didn’t make any threes, thrived in the paint and midrange, played passable defense and looked to pass first. His higher assists is just teammates making shots this time, which they normally have trouble with. He creates similar plays almost every game IMO. Zero TOs is great but he’s generally not a TO prone guy although this season he does do it a bit more.

Another 16 page thread of complaining and crapping on our players in a victory on the road. Surprising!

Yeah, I'm absolutely out on Lavine. Ignoring the low IQ, he's just not healthy enough to warrant that contract.

Fit is another thing to consider about adding another 20 ppg scorer. How many 20 ppg scorers do contenders have? Franz and Paolo are both 20 ppg players. Do we need another?

Bulls have zero defense. Especially without Caruso or Ball.

Fultz went 8-15, 0-2 from 3, and got to the line once.

The scoring wasn't impressive. It was the 10 rebounds and 9 assists, which is way higher than above his average, where it is usually half of that.

Then again, Cole didn't play at all and Fultz had 35 minutes.

We are strong against teams with no rim protection ( denver, bulls, toronto before Poetl) for a reason.
Our two high usage guys ( Banchero and Fultz) are good almost exclusively when they can go all the way to the rim and score. Wont happen against teams with half decent rim protection.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

It's okay to admit when a player has a good game without any caveats even if you don't like said player...

It just seems silly when people are like "Fultz wouldn't do this if he had a bad game and was against the best defenders"

No ****.

"Cole didn't play and Fultz had 35 mins"

"High usage guys against teams with no rim protection"

"Won't happen with bad rim protectors"

Literally the last two posts of you and zaymon.

Fultz had a nice game. It doesn't have to take away from people's ultimate feelings about him, just feel like there's always a "but..." when some guys play well here.

"The impressive part about his game against the Bulls was the 10 rebounds and 9 assists."

Yeah, really critical statement.

I have no stake in Fultz. I don't care if we sign VanVleet and trade Fultz over the offseason. I just know after Bamba he's the new scapegoat because he can't shoot. So when I read comments (not only yours) that, even if they have some praise, are also a bit dismissive in nature.. it makes me chuckle. Has nothing to do with your overall feeling about Fultz.

Not anything more than that. Same reason I roll my eyes when basketballRob goes super homer in the GB and talks about length all the time.

Yeah, I could care less about Fultz.

Ultimately the only thing that matters is if Weltman hands him a stupid contract because perception outweighs reality. Exactly what he did extending Aaron Gordon.

I’m no homer. I’m being realistic about upside potential, skill sets, and building a contender.
