fwiw i didn't see the two shots at the top of the arc. it's kinda like the ball releases a little early, which is kinda neat cause it makes his shot look more effortless.

Man, we still have so much "depth," that this summer better bring some consolidation....but like Bones' debut, Plumlee is better as a backup five than Nico/RoCo/Moses.....EJ was quiet.

i mean it's no shock we're gonna be doing the 3 guard thingy if bones is gonna get minutes. didn't really see him being prioritized more than gordon but it's literally the first game so we'll see

Honestly, with PlumGod, the three guard doesn't annoy me as much, plus, EJ has the wingspan and strength to stick with most threes.

yeah was gonna mention the plumlee addition was necessary to prevent lue from going back to his 3-guard shenanigans

was gonna say something about how nice it was to not see lue staggering so much just yet because i have no interest in seeing paul george become the focal point anymore but here he is. will have to see how the ball-handling dynamic changes with plumlee/hyland on the floor

very nice by bones to drive baseline, get the pass off to the right guy instead of forcing it to paul george, to which the ball goes anyway, resulting in free throws for PG.

also very nice to see paul george camping in the corner for once lol

i was initially thinking having gordon replicate powell's slashing would add marginal value because of the redundancy

but the more i think about it, the more i like it. powell's obviously a fantastic catch and shoot guy, gordon can pass the ball a little bit, but simply having an extra driving option helps alleviate an overall weakness we had to be concerned about whenever powell wasn't on the floor.
